I'm saying that it would be more useful to scum than town. I AM NOT saying that any sane mod would ever give it to scum.

@chess: Sure. That's the lottery. But this game has 20 players and probably 6 or 7 scum, not 100 players and 5 scum.

the 5 scum are 3 6 9 12 19

And plus, that configuration is just as likely as the other. Now, if somebody, five minutes before the lotto numbers were revealed, was like "hey, I bet the numbers are XXXXX", and was right, then I would be suspicious. But no particulart configuration of numbers should make you suspicious.

PEDIT: What? I don't see the point in that post.

if the lotto numbers ever turn up 1 2 3 4 5 be very suspicious

if they ever turn up 9 13 43 15 39
you have no cause to be suspicious because that's not distinctive

That's like saying you should be suspicious if they ever come up as the numbers you picked. THEYRE JUST AS LIKELY TO COME UP AS 1 2 3 4 5 AS THEY ARE 9 13 43 15 39

All combinations of lottery numbers are equally likely. You fail statistics forever. This is a waste of time.

If you REALLY want to worry about this, the question is whether you think Andy would deliberately subvert it or not. But even then it's not an oobaScumtell.

No? If I noticed that all my reads were next to each other on the playerlist, I might notice it. I would NOT then doubt the validity of my reads, much less decide that they were OBVIOUSLY WRONG and start over again.

Now, if I was scum and I was MANUFACTURING a list, I might space out my reads as a natural part of the process.

So why do you think the "scum" human brain is more likely to present 3 scums in a row?

You're pointing out something benignly odd and then (implicitly) claiming that it's the most important thing going on in this game.

Great. If those were my suspects then THE OTHER PLAYERS might doubt that. I wouldn't.

This originally started with ooba calling my reads "going for mislynches" and I pointed out how his sucked in response, and a bunch of people made a huge ordeal out of it.

My original point still stands. gandalf sans claim and chrono sans claim are scummy as fuck, and they're the only two players I have called scum who have flipped. I was correct on BS and S_B, and yet ooba attempts to paint me as this huge scummy MISLYNCH BRINGER FROM HELL

Nope. Without my vote, the wagon yesterday wouldn't have had the most people. Try again. This is temporary, just for today. And there were benefits.

This much I agree with. I wish you'd voted AV with he and I yesterday, though, in light of your reported distaste for the lead wagons.

I know you were preferring Chrono/Chronos, but I dun even know why you would suspect LC other than PoE...

Chrono/Gandalf/AV all being scum together sounds too risky for D2.

Ad hominem. Just cause I made a mistake once doesn't mean you're town just because I'm attacking you.
