Let's break this shit DOWN. Order in the town list corresponds to how early I read you as town on the reread, but also not forgetting my previous impressions of each player.

Ready to kick some Wizards' ass

IceyCupcake - vote on Pine is very reasonable and very town-mindset when Pine doesn't wish to go along with the vote-Icey plan.
Pine - jumping at every goddamn shadow, reads as having some type of accuracy/inferiority complex
WrathChild - what was that, like seventeen different votes at the beginning of the game? Doesn't care to be scrutinized.
chesskid3 - CHESSKID. oh and [redacted]
Dry-fit - http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 8#p3056148

How does Icey's Jester claim fit into your Town read on them? WIFOM on page one?

Icey didn't claim Jester, nub. Jester-like, as in needs votes to accomplish something. But please, Icey, go ahead and tell us if you actually are third party.

See, this stubbornness makes you town. Just find something correct to latch onto.

For those that don't want the ABR assignment, I want thoughts on CMAR/Katy scumpair. The timing of Katy's point (which probably just needs clarification?) and CMAR's loldidKatyslip? post is tinfoil-worthy.

But some think CMAR is town for confusing the factions.

I've been saying Jester-like all along. I just got lazy that last time. I've even proposed a couple of theories as to what Jester"like" might mean. It's why I refuse to vote for him today for any reason.

Making that claim doesn't induce WIFOM unless you allow it to. Either consider it a fakeclaim (ie scum) that is implausible given what you know, or move on from it and treat Icey according to your read on them.

I'll attempt to reexplain it because it seems you're having difficulty understanding. I currently have a town-read on IceyCupcake. This town-read is based around the fact that I fail to see any real scum-motivation behind his outright demand as it directs attention towards him instantly. I do however see a possibilty that Icey is indeed third party, thus following his orders involves immese risk whereas not doing so has no real harm.

With no associative tells to be established how can you say someone is town but still possibly third party?

OP wrote: Roles and factions: This is a rather vanilla-less setup. All factions have a winnable condition. If a win condition is achieved, and it doesn't directly interfere with the win condition of another faction, the game will keep on. For example, if the win condition of a player is to get certain player lynched, should that player achieve that condition (and no other win condition is achieved at the same time), the game can keep on. There is at least one town faction and one scum faction. Town faction is called Sorcerers, while scum faction is called Wizards. Other factions may exist, and they may have wizards, sorcerers, or other classes.

The OP implies multiple third party roles in the setup, Iceys win condition could simply be to recieve x amount of votes during the game thus although I don't see him as scum I have no reason to vote him.

I feel there's some disconnect in reading Icey as Town, realizing that if Icey is indeed some third party with an alt win condition it won't preclude town from a win, and then not following your Town read of Icey by following their plan.

Do you think Scum and Anti-Town third parties are found by different means on D1?

Post #126 by Katy - So SGR is "pretty obv. scum." but you don't vote him? Explain.

I said he was obv. scum because he kept saying he was Merlin (a wizard). In other words, a joke.

Even if I thought he was scummy (and I'm not sure on that right now) I would have unvoted because he had racked up seven votes in a short amount of time and in the previous Sorcerers/Wizards game the exact same thing happened leading to a quick mislynch, so I was being cautious and unvoting. Plus, Implosion was and still is coming off as more scummy than SGR. I don't understand why he cares so much about the who the hydra is. How are their identities relevant to their alignment?

I don't think CMAR's response to me was a slip. I think scum is well aware of what faction they are, town is more likely to mess it up. When I first got my role message I was pretty confused too because I hadn't yet realized the factions were switched this time and the role names don't always indicate which side you are on.
I'll never get used to anything. Anybody that does, they might as well be dead.
