The contributing part in general, the leaning toward an Mb lynch just recently.

So, I'm finishing this, and at one point I go and check my role PM (for the first time since I replaced in) and realize "Oh hell...I could have hammered a long time ago without fear." Why? I'm an Even-Night Commuter, same as Amrun (though a different animal). Suck it scum, I'm surviving tonight to pressure you tomorrow.

Okay! Here we go. I'll try to keep this a tolerable length.

I find that picking over little things from early pages in a game this big to be pointless. I'll mostly be sticking to broad impressions, reads, summaries, and important points.

This stuck out to me in light of our current situation:
VasudeVa wrote:I'll give you guys the bullet points of what I think might have been carried over.
->The Mafia didn't have the usual wincon, they had a "collect the colors of the rainbow" wincon.
->They had to absorb a Townie's colors by poisoning them(ie. NK'd player shows up as poinsoned the next day, dies at the end of the phase.). Not sure if this game had something like that currently, but I think that the absorption thing is inherently here.

I usually try not to out-guess the mod, but I'd have to say that this is likely the inspiration for mb's claimed role. Whether it is genuinely harmless third party, anti-Town third party, a fakeclaim modified from the Mafia wincon, or a fakeclaim simply inspired by the Rainbow Unicorn game, we cannot afford to take the risk. I'll be hammering at the end of this post.

Vezok
-Early fishing about goodies/not understanding how goodies (the "donation" bit) suggests to me that he does not have goodies and does not have a partner with goodies. Our one flipped scum had goodies, but may not have been able to relate anything about mechanics before Night 0 ended. NS suspected him, but probably some version of Town Vanilla. Ehhh...others have explained a Town read on him, I'll not belabor it.

Zyrconium
-Either confirmed Cop (Zyrconium had no real reason to bus) or PR-hunting scum. Maybe rolecop to have nailed an opposing anti-Town role? mb's flip will tell.

mb53
-Third party (in which case Zyrconium is lying scum, Cops don't get guilty reads on Third Parties) or scum.

Hazard
-I believe his D1 claim for now. That may color my subsequent read of him, but...think of this as a scum fakeclaim. Having one fairly plain, conditionally-PR role like visitor implies there could be multiple of the same. Three is a nice number for this, which would put us at TS, Kalofer, Hazard. Claiming this on D1 would be risky for scum, because if two flipped (and they did) then the third would start thinking that four might be pushing it. There's no CC out there. Also, I've played with Hazard as Town before and this fits with that performance.

Hoppster
-Scum. I'll be pushing him hard tomorrow. Stels, Amrun and Kalofer suspected him, NS to a lesser degree. I've played with and against Hoppster when he was scum before, and this is reminding me eerily of the first game I played against him, when I was Town and he was Mafia. My first read-through, I had a solid Town-read. Then the suspicion of Amrun and Kalofer (both of our NKs) on him in their ISO had me rethink it. Overeagerness to get rid of mb and his hammer of CP seem suspiciously designed to gain Townpoints.

Morthas
-Has been EXCEEDINGLY cautious with his vote. From what I've seen, Town generally are more willing to use their vote as a tool and throw it around more readily. Also has a tendancy to push a case, back off, and let others do the dirty work. Tunneling on Hazard is classic scum pushing a scummy Townie.

ToastyToast
-What the fuck was that vote on mb? The reasoning for NOT putting mb at L-1 was VERY clear. Town wouldn't be that dumb. Scum definitely wouldn't be that dumb. And that's why I think it probably WAS a scum move. All the real Townies just backed off, but TT did the WIFOM-laden "scum would never be this stupid" move. In general, I have been overwhelmed by the feeling of "meh" I get from his performance this game. There's a strong sense of treading water without doing much of significance or boldness.

Remaining scum is in {Hoppster, TT, Morthas}. I suggest we lynch in that order for the win, but flip and NK have to be taken into account.

Dude, you obviously aren't paying attention to the game if you seriously just said that.

Wuuuuuuuuut. Two even night commuters sounds even more unlikely then my role. lawls. Totally a fakeclaim. Especially with the "I'm commuter" --- next post "NO SERIOUSLY, I'M COMMUTER *commutes*"

Also, that isn't the hammer.

Actually, I realized my mistake re: Cop in the shower while pondering setup. I was thinking Investigative role -> Guilty -> Claimed Third Party -> Mafia Rolecop? -> Cop. Came on to fix it.

The *commutes* comment was intended for the end of my post as a "suck it scum" notation, forgot to actually type it. And meh, forgot Morthas unvoted. Someone hammer please, we're ready.

VOTE: mb

Don't see any reason to delay putting my vote back on.

@Pine: The reason i was exceedingly cautious with my vote is because i was doubting the scummyness of TS and Stels. I was ready to hammer crazy except he got hammered before i was needed

@Pine: It was L-3, now it is L-1 you were faar from being the hammer ;p

Huh. I'm pleasantly surprised by Pine's post. zyrconium, hoppster, morthas are all people who I have had suspicions on (but hoppster more for his claim than for the kills). I would say more but I need to sleep.

Vote count 31

mb53 (5) - vezokpiraka, ToastyToast, Pine, Morthas, Zyrconium

Not voting: Hazard with a Glove, mb53, Hoppster
mb53 has been lynched

Deadline is on Thursday, 2nd June at 0730 hours (GMT-5)

5 votes on mb53 meant that it was time for him to leave the Candy Zoo.
"Huh? What's that? I'm responsible for these murders? No, I'm telling you that I'm not evil!", he protests.
"Yeah, sure, but who's responsible for the dissappearance that have been occuring mysteriously during the night?", one of you asks.
"Well, perhaps.... maybe.... but you see..."
Hm! Well, it appears mb53 is a bit at a lost for words. Let's give him the boot! And I'm afraid I'll have to confiscate those liquorice flavoured yummies that he's having. Mmm.

You know one thing about licorice is that it tends to get stuck in your teeth. Still yummy, depending on the flavour and all but really, those yummies are not cheap in certain parts of the world. Candy and fruit juice eaten together can result in a sugar high, making you feel sleepy for the rest of the day and generally decrease productivity. So, either be prepared to be asleep on the job or do so only on weekends. This has been general advice that you may or may not agree with, and also may or may find useful.

Anyway, it was a rather uneventful Night. Everyone's here.

No one was killed Night 4.

Day 5 starts now. With 7 alive, it takes 4 to lynch.
Deadline is on Friday, 10th June at 1100 hours (GMT-5)
Moderator deadline time: Saturday, 11th June at 0000 hours (GMT+8)

Now that WAS an unexpected combination of events....

I can't really see a reason for there to be no kill, intentional or otherwise, people have a plan(we're not to far from the stage of massclaim methinks, enough of the important people are gone, and my reads ain't doing so well(mb was, until N3 in my "fairly town" pile, but I wanna know what happened at night first, at least.
