Can we get a consensus on who must go into the duel?
I prefer Amrun. ML or Toasty almost as good. Not feeling DUM.
I think the only possible people should be:
Amrun
ML
Toasty
DUM
(maybe me, if there is current support people should speak up)
The above list is people who currently have a wagon on them, or had a wagon on them at some point, which I think qualifies them to be considered for duel. I'd like everybody to rank these 4/5 in order they would prefer. Or if they strongly prefer a write-in candidate, say that, but we should really try to narrow down this field, IMO.
My list is:
1)Amrun
2)ML
3Toast
4)DUM
5)lovable meLast edited by SpyreX on Fri May 27, 2011 6:03 am, edited 1 time in total.Talk nerdy to me.

I answered your objection (which was really you just saying "no") in #474. You ignored that and responded with "error." I responded with asking if you would be okay with lynching GreyICE tomorrow, and I gave two reasons why we should do this. 1) A topic I wish to discuss tomorrow and 2) GreyICE tends to become more readable as the game goes on, so it's beneficial to let him brew for a while. Now you have once again responded with "Error" and called me obstinate … but then you proceed to agree in your next post that GreyICE isn't lynchable today. So if anyone is being difficult for the sake of being difficult, it's clearly you.
Perhaps a summarized view of the conversation would make this more clear:
AGM: I think Thing A.
Vi: No.
AGM: Here's why I think Thing A.
Vi: No.
AGM: Well, what do you think of Thing A?
Vi: You are stubborn and wrong.
Vi (to everyone else): Let's do Thing A.
This is scummy.-

I should reread now, if I were really a great enthousiastic player. Don't think I will tonight though.
I learned that if I get really lethargic, I can always sheep Vi. Rather frequently I agree with his reads. As for Gamma's choice, I would be disappointed by a Amrum/Magister Ludi/Toasty pick. None of them stand out to me as scummy, rather people who make mistakes (and not the scummy kind). To the point, I miss the scummy motivation in their posts.
I would still be happy with EK (I think... sigh). Inhim would be a very good choice, and Iecerinth although I'm not sure about him can't be bad seen his activity. Maxous is a plain gut-scum read which isn't shared by many yet. If I reread him I think I could make a decent case. DUM is still iffy. I dislike the wagon on him and think I might be wrong with my read on him.
Just for the impression: vote Inhim. I would be grateful if gamma picked him.Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.-

Deity, elvis was trying to get a sense of who would be the lynch today. I do agree that it may be trying to hard to get back into the good graces of town.
Actually, your post does unintentionally bring up a fairly decent point: I don't see much reason for elvis_town to even give others the option of listing her as possible scum. elvis, elaborate?Show"I'm from Indiana. I know what you're thinking: Indiana... Mafia." - Jim Gaffigan

1)To all the people who say I'm "pushing" Katsuki, I recommend you reread what I said about her on my list. She is on my scumlist but I have no intention of voting or lynching her today because its my weakest read. All things I have said about Katsuki are responses to her questions.
2)People who I think should be on the losing side of a duel: DUM, Amrun
People who should duel: Gamma(because of his power, but I do not think this clears him as town), Juls
3)People who have me on their scumlist: Kat, DUM, Amrun, elvis_knits, AGM, RedCoyote, Bastard(says im leaning scum), Gammagooey, Ludi(?),
In other words, I'm getting very frustrated with the amount of people who suspect me when only a few have actually explained why. Also, this whole bad reads BS--well, we don't know if they are bad reads, do we? Don't see how this is a scum-tell, just as you don't seem to see why I consider DUM to be scummy. Ugh, on the verge of rage mode right now.
also, some other things I am reminded of as I catch up.
1)Elvis, since when is agreeing with someone's thought process buddying? You seem to think I'm buddying you. I'm not, your not even on my town list.
2)Amrun, you say I have bad reads and strange pushes. The only person I've really pushed today is DUM. There are no flips. Therefore, you cannot say I have bad reads unless you happen to know who scum is."A train robbery is where you take a train to your destination, make your move, and take a train back, right?"-Isaac

I'm not on my own scum list, silly.
That's the list of possible duel candidates. I included myself in the possible duel candidates based on who had gotten a wagon on them today. I had a wagon, so I went on the list. I listed myself as my least favorable option to duel.Talk nerdy to me.

I'm referring to how you said you agreed with my plan to rule duels by majority, while also giving caveats that if a person feels sure they found scum they can duel. Which actually means you didn't agree with me. Saying you agree with me AND AGM seemed to be an attempt to please us both, but it's not really possible to agree with us both, since one makes the other impossible.Talk nerdy to me.
