I'm yellow. Once per day, I can send someone's name to the mod, and he will tell me if that person is "concentrated" or not, meaning, if anyone of his color is dead. I got a yes for Coug, meaning either red, yellow, or scum, so if he claimed blue we'd catch him.

Well given the nature of my power, if a Blue dies I become a sort of vanilla. So I don't see the point in protecting me.

Anyway, Coug did quite overreact, I wonder if there's something there anyway...

I'm not entirely sure if I am seeing Coug as scum just yet though, since I can understand some resistance to claiming color. Will have to re-think this...

Well, assuming equal spread of colors, there is a (rather) risky way of checking Coug's claim. And the more I think of it the more logical it sounds.

If you people agree: I think it will be helpful for ALL red players to claim. If there are 3 claims total, one of them must be scum, so we should get scum with 2 mislynches at most (which is fine at this point). If only 2 people claim red we have 2 confirmed town, which is also cool.

I don't think it's helpful at all and I am strongly against a complete color claim because it gives scum too much information.

Given the high chance of giving us the scum on a silver platter, I think the information they will also obtain is pretty much irrelevant.

Worst case scenario: we kill two town and 1 scum
Second worst case scenario: we get 2 confirmed innocents
Best case scenario: we nail scum today.

I think flavor is very valuable to us this game, why not use it?

As crazy as this sounds, I am going to UNVOTE: Meransiel. Still puzzled about there being a day action, but I think it is sufficiently weak to make sense.

I'm also with Leiskyrie here. The other reds should not claim.

What I'm confused about is why Merans thought he could catch Coug in a lie. Theoretically, he would get a yes for roughly 2/3 of town. Plus, how do we know what other colour(s) are out there? Blue hasn't come up yet. It may very well be green. (I mean, primaries makes sense, but still.)

I was giving an example with blue. Might as well be fuchsia.

ALSO, if he claimed yellow it would've been VERY easy to prove/disprove his claim, so...my money was on him not saying red.

I am pretty sure you did the exact same thing as Jedo.

Not really. Context is everything. I'm speaking for Rhinox's mindset here but we're more or less on the same page. He read back and voted for hiphop with no change in votes or even posts in-between. Jedo was not only far more wishy-washy about his hiphop read, he also didn't vote for him; he just said he probably would after our catch. In short, Jedo's post reads like covering his back by voicing some suspicion of hiphop without committing to a vote, while ours was quite clearly just a catch-up and vote. I actually thought hiphop was scum as soon as Voided flipped due to his approach to Voided D1, but Rhinox wasn't really about, hence not understanding the case at first.

Meransiel: why was this your initial reaction to your information when you had nowhere near the degree of certainty this implies?

I will have time for content later. Right now we must lynch scum. I have role-related reasons to believe Coug is scum, therefore...
