I didn't mention a quicklynch. I'm not sure what you mean. It might have ended up a quicklynch but I wasn't purposely trying to make it so. I wasn't paying attention and thought the general consensus was that it was time for a vollkan lynch. I skimmed over the case on MPR, realized my vote was misplaced, and figured everyone else was onto something with vollkan. He was at L-1 and no one seemed to be unvoting so I figured people were content with his lynching.

I'm fairly embarrassed at how I was handling this game. Obviously I'm paying more attention at this point.

But what does that matter? I saw him on about 10 straight times, reading this forum, and not posting here (nor elsewhere in Coney Island). That's the definition of lurking.

It also helps to have bobsnox post, because he is unable to avoid wearing his alignment on his sleeve. If he posts. Of course, he knows I'm in this game and would recognize his scumtells instantly, so the thought came to my mind that he was avoiding posting so he wouldn't have to answer any uncomfortable questions from me ("Why are you scum?" "Should we lynch you today or vig you tonight?" "HAVE YOU STOPPED BEATING YOUR WIFE?" &c.).

And for the record, he needs to post more. One wall post every few days is not as helpful as constant engagement with the game

And man, meta is like, the best thing ever. A meta on bobsnox will detect his alignment 100% of the time. I even did meta on people as scum in a newbie game here (last summer I think?) and it was funny how accurate it was. I even told a townie to stop barning my scumbuddy, because if he was scum, she would have been utterly fooled. And she was!
