Duel mechanic - In the end I don't think I liked it. Far too often the choice was between two people who really, really should not have been lynched.
Like/Dislike of setup - Had I known RedCoyote was Town, I would not have made the setup assumptions I did. Nobody would have. At least I was correct on four scum, but one too many was alive.
Lynch mob for Death Miller + Redirector scum - The Death Miller was worse than the Redirector. Had we had another Day I was definitely going to force a RayFrost lynch through and probably vig C-worl since all the other obvious vig hits were dead.

RayFrost was who I'd have had cop results on in the morning though. He'd been flipping back and forth between a town read and scum read the whole game, and I didn't like it.

What part of "redirector" did you not read anywhere in the last two Days or postgame?

I'm impressed with Iecerint, and I'm disappointed that I dropped the scum->scum angle with the T-Bone duel. I was on to RayFrost as well, but he did a good job of steering me away. C-worl basically went down on the priority list because other people jumped up and said SHOOT ME SHOOT ME.

Also, it would have been rather difficult for me to be more obviously Town after I dropped the robot act. Like I was embarrassed to post.

I did the best I could with what I had. I have no regrets.

I enjoyed the game, loved the duel mechanic. I thought we as scum were severely underpowered, but thanks to some poor town play we were able to stick it out and for once my team doesn't combust!

My thoughts:
~I am proud of my reads. What I don't understand is why no one except Ludi even considered them on my death. Is it lack in faith of me as a player (cause trust me, I was even surprised)? Or just the pace of the game?
~This is a tough loss for town and I don't want to point the finger, but I think that things would have went differently had people followed the plan of electing the duelers (I am looking at you myko). From the first time someone decided to initiate a duel without anyone's concent it went down hill because it was an invitation for everyone to do it, which they did.
~Vi, I love you, but I hated that damn Robot. Call me dense but I had no idea what you were even talking about half the time. It was cute and fun but, I prefer you! Like you said, once you started playing as Vi I knew you were town. I beg of you to retire it for good.
~CSL and RC should be ashamed of the way they played. And I am not talking about any words they said, but how hard is it to stay on one account and post there? And then you would argue with each other IN THREAD. That's what your hydra QT is for. This game has made it clear that I will NEVER allow hydras in any game I mod unless they have proven they can do it correctly.
~Iece and Rayfrost to improve your scum game I would look at the two things I mentioned about each of you respectively (because I have done it before and thats why I have learned to catch it): 1) Iece, don't hold on to a single (weak) argument and do nothing else. 2) Rayfrost, don't start out strong and then taper off once you think you have proved your worth. You got the best of everyone so I ain't hatin' but just to improve your game some. As for the other two, I have only seen C-worl scum so I have no idea what C-worl town looks like and BB was lurky.
~Oh another thing...I, for some reason, didn't realize this was a "theme" when I signed up. I had never heard of Dynasty Warriors and thought the theme was the duel. So I apologize for that. I usually don't sign up for themes unless I understand them.
~SpyreX: Like Vi, I don't know about the duel mechanic. I think it has potential but needs some restrictions. This was very reminiscent to me of what happened in War in Heaven II where town just beat the shit out of themselves in rapid fashion. I don't know what the answer is but it probably needs something to protect the town from themselves a little.

Well, I didn't taper off deliberately. At the end of the game I did, but prior to that I was so sick that I simply avoided posting because my brain was addled. I was worried that my play would suffer in a way that got me lynched, so I decided to just avoid posting until I got better. I wasn't lying when I said that my nose was growing scales (well, kinda: it was a scab that was slowly expanding due [redacted - tmi]). It's the peak allergy season here as well, so generically feeling like hammered shit is kinda the status for me. At the time I said I was v/la from it, I was really incapable of posting worth a damn while afterward I just lost motivation since I was behind.

I find that a main issue with my [scum & town, but mostly scum] play is being unable to pick it back up when I've had downtime. I just completely lose momentum and then have to rev back up, which I simply don't have time to do when the game's already gotten into the main meat. As town, it's lessened because I get selfmotivated via wanting to find scum, but as scum I just get pretty lazy.

1. I will keep disagreeing on the subject of my duel. Just check the duel deadline, it wasn't that far away. I was far from the only one considering Inhim scum. Saying that it gave others the freedom to duel too early partially made it so, though one also has to consider how many initiators of an early duel died.
2. Sorry. I didn't trust your reads at all. Mostly because mine were way off this game.

Juls, I think people discounted your death because you were considered obvtown, so there was no reason to read too much into your being killed. If you had been myko or something, people would've looked back. And this is consistent with our choice -- we killed you because you were an obvtown player less likely to be protected than Vi. Your reads hadn't even been published when we sent in the tentative kill. Though your reads didn't change our mind.
