but to be classed as SE (semi-experienced) in the newbie queue you need 2 completed newbie games on mafiascum

IC (Inexperience-Challenged) requires five completed games here and review of said games. It's a teaching role.

Basically, the 'meta' here is very different than elsewhere due to this being a site completely dedicated to playing mafia, as opposed to your average forum that tends to just have occasional mafia games in the side room (like the kind I'm sure a lot of us have done on several forums.)

Hell, I've run 5 games and played in at least 20 offsite, but while that taught me the mechanics it didn't prepare me as much as I expected for the level of theorycrafting and dedication extant on this forum.

Im new to the site, but not new to mafia. I started out when I was kid playing mafia as a board game, then
I finally startedup again on Starcraft 2 recently, interested in moving farther into more mafia style games, I joined
Epicmafia, but was offset by the amount of trolls and short games. So now, im here. I want to see how forum mafia is
different than real boargame/sc2 mafia. During the boardgame, you must read expressions and you have much more
available to you, now that it is forum mafia, all you have is your mind and careful reading.

You should get an avatar (picture icon) that describes you. Basically so people can attach the picture to your username and always know "oh, it's Awesoma!" when they see that picture. It really helps with forum mafia.

I know, Im a GFX artist. I do major signatures and stuff along the lines of that. Im working on a matching siggy and avvie just for this forum

An IC needs five completed games.
What's the difference?

For purposes of Player Game Limits:
A finished game is one in which you are out of the game (by lynch or night kill) but the game is still being played by others.
A completed game is a game in which a winning side has been declared and the game is over.

SEs can just have 2 completed games even if they were lynched page 1 in theory
