@MOD – I’ll be V/LA from today at 4pm EST until Monday for my usual weekend family duties. I may have time to post but my access with at best be erratic and is not predictable.

General Thoughts

– Jason’s Angel as Cop fake-claim more or less assures me that Angel isn’t in the game so any Llama as Lynch gut twinges I had I’ve completely dismissed for good.

For those who wanted to claim the Cookie I offered at 135 what was absolutely scummy about MissJJ’s 133 were as follows –

1. Fence sitting on Jason. Read everything after the part regarding Acro and Edmund being scummy. She says all of the following about Jason

A. She understands why Llama and others are voting for him. (Agree with Lynch)
B. He plays scummy as Town, but I do think a Jason wagon could be best. (Disagree but Agree with Lynch.)
C. His claim is premature and he could have done more to defend himself. (Agree with Lynch)
D. I don’t like him at L-1 in case he’s telling the truth. (Testing the waters to see if claim has legs to prevent lynch, Disagree with Lynch)

This is a massive fence sitting position, IMO.

2. The last part (which several people commented on) looks very much like Role-Fishing via prompting a Counterclaim.

Yep, I absolutely was fence-sitting about Jason. I found both reasons for and against the lynch and I was giving those reasons. If anyone was absolutely sure he was scum then they have to be scum. No, I didn't want him hammered before he had a chance to defend himself. Why would anyone want that? And no, I was not role-fishing. This is a Buffy-themed game, so I really don't think talking about the characters in the game constitutes role-fishing. I was openly speculating on whether his claim was believable. This is what we're supposed to do here, right? Try to decide if people are lying? I don't see the issue since everyone here should know the characters. It would be stupid of someone to counter-claim at this point in the game and I was in no way trying to promote that.

I'm here to look for scum and that's what I'm trying to do. I'd be more concerned about people who are blindly following lynches or people who just post "he is scum" or "let's lynch him" without anything else to back it up. If you see me as scummy then you really should lynch me. It seems like you want to set off alarm bells about my post but don't really believe I'm scum. If you did, you'd vote me.

Considering the circumstances - we lynched scum Day 1, a lynch the voting block actively pursued, I got a townread on both LL and you, plus no death last night - I'd say hell yeah, why not?

That was after he dug his hole with his defensive behaviour and his mediocre claim. I was more interested if he's still using his scum meta from Lost S1 and if we can exploit it. That's why I'm annoyed of iaaun's premature hammer before jason could give out any "reads".
Now there's not a lot in jason's ISO to work with except that Lady L is very likely not aligned with jason.

Dekes, we need you to fullclaim along with whatever flavour possible in your next post.

Even now she's missing the point why she's scummy. If you believed that Buffy or Giles were better suited as cops, whether you were role-fishing or not (which you were), from a town PoV it should've resulted in a very strong disbelief in jason's claim. Yet you were still waffling on jason and stalling his lynch.

As for the quick end to yesterday's day, to be honest I feel pretty good about the people on the wagon. Regfan's vote seemed pretty legit and didn't really give Jason the opportunity to let his claim get him out of a lynch, and iamausername is a little more suspect but was already calling out Jason before jumping on the wagon, so I'm not getting a major scumread there either.

We're Rupert Giles a Demon Investigator. We checked Dekes N1 and found out there is a record of him being a demon.

I've checked the flavour and there's no sign of Xander being a demon anywhere from what I've read therefore his claim is fake and he's scum.

No, I'm not lying nor is there any reason to lie in a position like this. I also highly doubt there's a redirector or framer in this setup. We checked you mainly due to process of elimination, there were a lot of reads we both agreed on last night resulting in only three players who we had no real clue of how to read, those being Farside, You and Locke. Farside replaced out and I generally can read Looker quite well removing any point in checking him just leaving yourself and Locke, in which we picked you. Right now seems like as good time as any to out our reads.

Why do you highly doubt there's a framer or redirector in the set-up? I konw you have to do this now, but what will be your explanation tomorrow?

Also, Dekes, two millers wouldn't exist. If that were true you would have CC. So, from a town perspective, we need to figure out why such a thing happened. Why would a framer target you? You didn't strike me as a likely cop target.

+Dekes' play in this game has been very under-the-radar, which makes sense if he saw his scumbuddy jason about to get lynched so quickly.

@Locke and LLD: What I have said regarding my PM is a paraphrased version of everything in the message. I don't know what it means or who sent me said message.
