Why?

It's basically what FD touched on already. It's multiple factors against a scum kill. The drawbacks Twisted is stating about it blocking investigations is pretty much junk unless you want to believe that there's more than 4 power roles in the game, and again that leads to his position on Bob not making sense.

Earworm I've changed my mind many times on. Leaning scum at the moment. His hammer might have been a reluctant scum one.

In the post I'm saying bgg and akira are more scummy due to the mike flip (I know i look that way too, but hopefully I'll soon flip and you'll see it's their turn to be lynched) and that I lay off of their cases through much of yesterday since they abstained from the mike wagon

His perspective on the game is pretty clear:

"I'm not going to be expedient in any efforts to save myself, and my priority is on getting my reads out and making sure you actually pay attention to them."

His reactions all feel very genuine to me, and I don't see much indication in his play that he'd be able to pull off this kind of nuanced acting job as scum.
