All your reads are "well I think you are either town or scum", even the one you voted on. Your "justification" is pretty laughable. Don't like it.

No, you really were pushing the false dilemma way to hard.

You were forcing me into it, because I chose not to answer ("You're missing the point" or words to that effect), because to answer your question would be to say I was one of the two options you laid out, when it was neither.

The reads were in response to Amrun. I didn't want to post them (as I alluded to) but felt obliged to after she commented on my lack of reads.

Scum is pretty much guaranteed to be in Moratorium or Quilford by PoE, so this game should be an auto-win at this point even if we don't use Amrun's plan. The lazy person in me wants to just power-lynch the two and not bother with cases.

tim_hill-scum deserves a win after today, and I just cannot bring myself to entertain Amrun-scum. It's just not in me to lynch the person who is genuinely providing nearly all content. Although I have had gut twinges, really, I would much rather lose to Amrun-scum than take the risk of looking like absolutely stupid-town by lynching the only townsperson single-handedly stopping this turning into a lurk-fest (which looks pretty likely to me if we lynch Amrun).

I have decided.

The last scum is in {Moratorium, Hoppster}.

Moratorium came out looking relatively bad in jilynne's ISO, as I stated earlier. A couple of other things I noticed while ISOing everyone:

-Moratorium gives off a strong pro-town feeling in the beginning of th e game, but actually provides very little content. His best content is his reads list, which has jily as "leaning scum" along with some others, amd Hoppster and I as "leaning town" - NO ONE full out town, which is strange.


Even though he lists jil as a suspect, he never pressures her and asks her a total of one question which he never followed up on - in hindsight seems a bit like coaching.

In hindsight, his descriptions of his townreads (esp on me) read like they are a bit scum-minded (threat-guaging).

He also answered a question Hoppster asked jil and specifically asked Moratorium to answer second, possibly giving her something to sheep.
His attacks today on Hoppster aren't good and I think he's encouraging a bit of noise with the formal logic. Ironically, he accuses Hoppster of asking for validation, and offers his meager scumread of jil as a counter, when Hoppster did far more to pressure jil than Moratorium did.

With Hoppster, his attempts to gamebreak come off as very genuine, but I think Moratorium scum would have been less likely to leave me alive than Hoppster, as I've read Hoppster incorrectly in the past. I feel much more confident that Moratorium is scum, though.

A lot of things in my Moratorium "case" could go either way and I realize that. However, I think this is the best move. Whichever scum is left has played a good game, making this decision difficult. I almost considered Quil for the day until I re-read him in ISO and remembered why I thought he was town yesterday.
