Town could fake a post restriction too and I would rather not share why because I don't want to do the work for scum.

Post restrictions are always null-reads.

I just told you. I'm not trying to be difficult.

I will try to rephrase. I can't continue to read her insatiable whining and complaining and try to determine some sort of alignment out of it. She could be town or scum, I don't think it really matters to her because she is here to troll, not play mafia. So I won't waste a possible lynch on her. The way I see her right now is a third-party survivor and I would recommend her as a good vig target.

To exchange a box off the shelf this is true but you're overlooking public player<->player trades. It would certainly be against the rules to conduct such a transaction VIA PM.

I'm hating this game so much right now. The mod hasn't responded to anything, and one player is dragging the whole game down by making sure everything D1 will be directly or indirectly about him/her. Since it's going to have to be that way, I'm just going to

. Scum is VERY, VERY rarely caught D1, so a good mislynch is probably the best we can expect to do. YamiChan is definitely ruining this game in a scummy way, though, so this also has a chance at the aforementioned rarity.

I just figured out we can abuse the private trading mechanism as a way of privately distributing info. Could be useful.

You could also request a private trade with a player to find out whether they've used their box or not.

We were actually making progress with this conversation. Now all you're doing is stirring up a hornet's nest.

The only effective way to deal with Yami is going to be to ignore her.

Eh. Somebody needs to read more of my games. You're right about the getting lynched often, but definitely wrong about the terrible at this game part. The former is why I have such a bad record, because people usually don't listen to the guy they're lynching, but I'm right more often than not about who's town and who's scum.
