We had a week and needed to go somewhere. Looked like there may be scum in there. It was mainly reaction testing to a wagon but it was progress. I got an alright reaction to just two votes, though. And a big wall of angry text to two sentences.

I think genuine anger of a lynch of

is a strong town tell. genuine anger at your own lynch is pretty much inevitable

around day 2, me and mina read half the game in starbucks and i kinda cringed (and mina laughed) at some of the things I was saying w/r/t the question he asked us. no real opinion on him, he dropped us down his scumlist, and i already mentioned i actually think he's more likely town than average now, the apology thing felt sincere. so day 2, I guess.

SpyreX is now my leading choice for cult recruiter, but I admit confirmation bias because of parallels I'm seeing in his behavior here and in Consulmaker II.

I posted my 3 most confident reads. I didn't really expect the thread to still be open 3 hours after my last post.

Anyway:

town reads: magua, LB
magua for genuine anger at my lynch
LB for the governor gambit

scum reads: DGB, Benmage
for their ridiculous attitude getting me lynched. Also, Benmage's counterclaim which is a lie

Apart from those 4 that I'm pretty confident in, I'd lean towards Thor as town because he just seems frustrated.
I'd also look at Nexus as scum because I looked at the list of people in the game and forgot he was in it.

That was a fascinating read.

It's odd to say - the fake counterclaim is the first thing Benmage has done that felt like Benmage town to me because he actually felt like he was working and being full of himself because he was sure he was right - *waaay* different from how he reacted to Magua lynch, I need to assess the two and see how I feel, at least night will give me time to actually look over those scum games.
LB looks more town to me now.
The other "town revelation" people that are being whipped out I already thought were town, so, whatevs, I'm brilliant.
I'll agree with Magua about Hindu - there was certainly some cult action there at the end of the hascow wagon and he feels the most questionable.
Emp looks scummier for getting through all that and not offering thought #1 on it, I went through an emotional rollercoaster and all he could do was fumble around and attack a town read? Bleh.
