Hey thor can you give me your quick reads on everyone? I don't really know where you stand on about half the players atm, and am too lazy to check.

I don't really do lists of relative scumminess, but here's my reads on everyone in rough alignment bubbles. There's at least one scum in my town reads (there always is).

town = town
scum = Mafia
Cult = Cult

Bogre - town read on Locke, but consider him thus far a bit pants on head at the moment, meh - considering him strong cult suspect because I'm town.
Thor665 - bearded.
vezokpiraka - I don't think I really understand the 'obv. scum' thing that happened to him - but I consider him relatively bleh thus far this game and he doesn't feel earnest to me, so I'm not pulling my usual VI defense here.
CyberSet - I actually have had him as decently town because he saw the Benmage thing and was on Espeo.
Lost Butterfly - town read.
Empking - town read just for the stuff today, at the very least not scum.
Magua - town read.
Nexus - null to scum, mostly for lurking enough that I don't feel I have a grasp of him.
LynchMePls - Same as Nexus pretty much, though he feels like he's trying harder. Eh, null to townish.
SpyreX - town read.
Hinduragi - Cult read, no scum read.
Benmage - for the first time this game - town. If he's anything he's cult, but I'm strongly leaning town now.
Espeonage - some form of scum/cult.
AlmasterGM - I'm starting to consider him difficult to get a clear read on due to other games I've been in with him - due to the numbers game I'll stick him on the null side of town with LMP. Possible lynch, but not a lynch I'd be excited about.

I could EVEN see faking a guilty to see what happens.

What I can't see is 4 days in a cult game faking a guilty on scum after the cult cop is lynched and pointing to the fake claim you made at game start.

My point is that YOU made it between you 2, while saying you thought he was town gambiting. Instead of running him up, it would make more sense to just say 'lolgambit' and keep scum hunting. I still haven't been able to read up though. Can we just lynch espeonage please? There's no way he's not flipping scum.

you don't go lolgambit when someone claims a guilty on you, it just...what? I thought he was scum to start with, then read him and realised he'd set it up (for no apparent reason!!??) and that he was prob town but HAD to go while he kept it up.

Now asked why I thought Ben and LB are the same alignment. Go back and look at it. When I read it the whole thing seemed pre-planned. As if they had this thing waiting in their QT and went "Hey, we gonna do that thing now?" "Yeah, let's do that thing now."

Anyway Explosion of posts today. Read all of it. Alot of back and forth. Willing to vote on Set. This has gone far past omgus, which if people will recall was how Set ended up on me in the first place.

Until Set picks up though and considering the turnaround today.

Empking, can you please share the scum motivation for Benmage to pull this gambit? They could possibly both flip town, while Esp is scum. So, no brainer.

@Esp: What does it mean to say "this has gone far past OMGUS?" Does that mean you think we have solid reasons for thinking you're scum? Because... we do. So just saying over and over that we don't is ridiculous. (And is also what scum is likely to do, FYI). The "if people recall" is so sketchy. First, we were never on you for omgus. Second, you're pushing so subtly without bothering to give reasons and while attempting to not draw too much attention. Not to mention the active lurking (which is the ENTIRE case you had on me. Though now it's magically transformed to a case based ENTIRELY on "omgus".) You're scum. You need to die.

I'm wavering on you atm, but my scum read is/was based on your play being antagonistic and out of character (which you've dropped?) and on your weird reaction to me asking if you think esp is scum yesterday, and on your interaction with Benmage today, which I found scummy. I haven't had a chance to talk to Bob about it - he may have more reasons as I was V/LA end of day yesterday and he had a scum read on you after the lynch that we didn't have a chance to hash out.

why is antagonism a scum tell [for me]? (I'd argue the opposite, I think). i was quite antagonistic to quilford day 1 in nezurian mafia, btw, so that's why 'I'm finding this 'off my meta' stuff a little weird.

Again with the massclaim.. its D4... 3 nights of results.. in a cult game.. how can we trust results being from town after this.

These are the strongest town players I’d want to recruit if I was the CR…. But I haven’t been recruited… DGB hasn’t, and neither has LB… So Spy or AGM…. It isn’t AGM… It could be Spy. (Although the CR could also be SPY because…..)

Empking would make a phenomenal active, but not too active… no real suspicion player to recruit.

Hence my theory… Empking is our recruited Crone.

Of course that’s N2’s recruit… As for last night I am convinced it has to be Thor. LL wasn’t nearly as towntelling as Thor. Thor would be the ideal recruit there.
