I'm confused. I suggest that perhaps Glork should be killed, but say I'm not sure of myself.
Several people say I'm scummy for even having interest in seeing his head on a stick.
They then proceed to kill Glork without a claim.
Of course I guess they couldn't lynch me without killing Glork.
My head hurts.

Deadline restricted lurhunt vote."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"-

Why do people do that? Why do they use absolutes when they can't possibly be sure? You know you don't know my alignment for sure, I know you don't know my alignment for sure, and everyone else knows that too. Before I've figured people who tended to word posts in absolutes like that were scum with absolute knowledge changing only the alignment part of their posts, but unfortunately that didn't work out empirically the way I wanted it to. It his, however, unreadable, a reinforcement of confirmation bias rather than any other more accurate voting motivation, and spammy."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

Pops, wagons that dissolve that quickly are usually on scum. Of course I recognize that I might be wrong about you, but what's the point of pussyfooting around in my language?-

I'm saying post 1378 has no value. Because it doesn't."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

Dammit, I just realized that Glork's death didn't reset the deadline.

There's no sense in OMGUSing here, if anything this really the product of the lethargic environment produced by lurkers in this game. I'd say go after them after my flip.
Amrun, your post had nothing to do with the pressing deadline, KDub probably figured that out on his own. His logic had nothing to do with "scum wagons get abandoned", and he has a more accurate read on me than you do that he voted against to meet the deadline because that's the appropriate play. It's ok for you to be wrong, and it's ok to be useless, but don't be wrong, useless, and pompous about it. That's overtly obnoxious. Your constant, confirmation biased tunneling spotlighted a player that was interesting rather than scummy, which in this inactive environment lead to a lynch that filled a vacuum. And like I said earlier in the post, that's more the inactives' fault than yours, because at least you're putting out a good effort to find scum, but please don't make obnoxious posts like 1387. It makes you look stupid."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

1387 happens to be an anagram of 1378, so I'll make a note here I'm not repeatedly referring to the same post by number"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

Was it the most useful post in the world? No. Far less useless than exchanging five posts about how useless it was.
I'll consider offering nothing to town a scumclaim, which is coo' with me.
I'll play with you anytime, pops, we'll just hope you are town next time.-

That was necessarily me being useful, it was just me raging.
I told the town to lurkerhunt after this. That's my best recommendation. Nothing else can be done with a town this lethargic. I've not seen much else that sticks out well."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

So much for the days when the Gold Saucer was the hottest place on the world map. The recent strings of murder and mayhem have given the resort a bad reputation, and those remaining at the Saucer were little more than stranded - The gondolas had been inoperable for some time now, leaving everyone with no choice other than to wait for salvation from the outside/below.
The vibrant cast of players all surround the main entrance hub. Dio, the resort's owner, fights back those that try to escape by sliding.
Dio:
"Stop, damn it! The last thing I need are suicides tarnishing the legacy of this place!"
Dio's guards can barely hold people back as well. A riot was inevitable.
???:
"Why am I not surprised by this behavior?"
In typical archvillain fashion, [Master] Xehanort comes strolling from behind the angry resort visitors, in plain view of Dio and his staff. With a hunched back, Xehanort goes into his spill while subtly observing everyone else.
Xehanort:
"I came here with a purpose, though I still must apologize for having to eradicate those of you who got inourway."
Dio:
"Are you saying that an old guy like you is the reason people been dying lately?"
Xehanort:
"Hm..like me, most certainly. As much as I enjoy your all-inclusive package, I must be leaving soon. Now, Mr. Dio, if you will be so kind to detail the location of the keyhole..."
Dio:
"What the hell you talkin' bout?"
Xehanort:
"Dio, if I wanted to play games with you, I would do so at the arcade. The sooner you tell me what you know, the sooner everyone's suffering ends."
Dio:
"I still have no clue what you're on about... so... stop killing, though. That cool?"
Xehanort:
"You mindless bag of meat, TELL ME! I will not let you keep Kingdom Hearts from me. You WILL show me where the gate is or else you WILL perish!"
Kise:
"DAT MAN CAZY!"
After Kise's exclamation, Xehanort becomes distracted for a mere second. That mere second would be long enough for a berserk-induced Coug to lounge towards him from behind. Just as Coug's claws come within an inch of Xehanort's throat, a robed witch holds her arm towards the feral-minded warrior, able to hold him in the air. With a swipe of her arm, she hurls Coug off in the distance where Faraday catches him in his arms.
Xehanort:
"Do not be fools. Do NOT be heroes. We will destroy you just as we have the other of your friends, if you try to interfere... We await your cooperation, Mr. Dio."
Both Xehanort and the witch turn to leave, while Faraday and Coug stand in the way. From above, behind the two protagonists, was another sorcerer. Feeding into their magical source, the sorcerer musters all the energy he has to produce theUltimaspell. The shards of light energy rain down as everyone panics, running off in various directions, most of the time colliding with each other.
It would be minutes, nearly an hour before the dust settled. No one was killed apparently, but everyone WAS down and out. No movement was barely made as time passes by. Despite being in this weakened state, everyone who was here an hour ago was here now - including Xehanort and his companions.
Only when everyone has the strength to rise will the battle continue...
Day 4 begins with 16 alive. It takes 9 votes to lynch.Voting may resume in (expired on 2011-07-15 20:46:49).
