I see some things, but why don't you tell us? You can pretend I'm a moron in need of patient explanation, if it helps.
Just curious if you're capable of doing so without resorting to the word "gut"."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

You don't see town motivation in this?hiplop wrote:VOTE: mastin
Dont see town motivation for what hes doing, not at all. Trying to look helpful despite doing shit.

17. Hiraki <--Null. I'll look more into this.
18. Toon Fighter <--Town.
19. SomeRandomGuy <--Very slight town-read.
20. zMuffinMan <--Also a very slight town-read.
The gaps are people who I have trouble judging the content on, so far.
You know posting all your reads on Page 2?
Yeah, that's scummy.
How about....

Eleven out of 21. NOW we're talkin'. That's down to half the game as suspects. If I can cut it in half again...
Again, posting lists.
If you wanted something more, like reasons you could ask him for them. But you didn't, you just left him with him saying that he doesn't have town motivation.
In present times, he's kept his vote on.
How has he justified it?
hiplop wrote:key word - looks.
Hohoho.
Because someone looks scummy, doesn't mean they are scum.
Does it make it better that you just happen to be on the leading wagon?
I'm going to eat, and continue later. At least I might, I don't really want to though. Hiplop's play is already crummy.-

You even gave a possible reason and now you're saying you can't figure out why it would be town behaviour?
More to the point, how is it scum behaviour? So, it could be town, it seems more scum. Have any of his other posts affirmed or dampened your suspicion in any way? Or are you still just voting him because he could be scum based on what he did at the very beginning of the game?spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh spiffeh-

To continue on, here's a major part that shows Hiplop's hypocrisy
hiplop wrote:muffin i dont see what you dont get... I explained it fine earlier, stop distracting town.
When Muffin was only questioning Hiplop's vote. This is a rather harsh defense, not only that, but Hiplop did not explain it earlier.
Which is where Muffin asks again, because he also realizes that Hiplop did not as well.
He just ignores it, and shows the same want as Muffin, in this post.

Alright, so a few of these wagons are getting a bit more steam. I've reread the thread and found mastin to be at the top of my scumlist. This is mostly gut, as I tend to be a gut sort of person as of late. Some of these exchanges are a little... strange to me. I find it odd to have some people who I believe are both town to be acting the way they are towards each other (IE Pine/Hiraki).
Sorry I've been lurky, I've just had a bit of a rough few days and I'll definitely post more tomorrow. You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?

I just ISO'd you to rub all the times you used "gut" as a reason for a vote in your face, Hiraki, and found none. Hmm. I must be confusing my games up again. My antagonism (in this matter, as I have no reason to clear you as Town) is withdrawn with apologies.
Thanks for the meta tidbit on you, though."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Because meta is based on actions that people do when they're town or scum.Pine wrote:I think it's an entirely neutral insight into your thought process. Why does your alignment matter?
You don't even have a clear read on me, so therefore if I do something and you store it as information as meta, you must have some insight of my alignment that you're not sharing.-

I'll join the mastin wagon:
UNVOTE: BowserVOTE: Mastin2
Mastin is scummy because he doesn't commit to anything concrete - all he does is to slap up a post and say, "See how scummy it is!". Then everyone can read into it what they want and there is no crap-logic to tear apart.
And if he's town, it is no great loss to lose a player that pulls a list out of his ass and then convinces himself it's true.-

Uprising wrote:I don't like how people are trying to draw connections between themselves and other people this early if that makes sense.
It was already asked, but who are you mentioning? You replied to this question before, but it was 'Haven't they also been trying to form connections', implying you were talking about other players.
Muffin wrote:hiplop says mastin is trying to look good. And then he said it looks bad. And I asked him how he could possibly think it was designed to make him look good if he looks bad because of it.
That has nothing to do with me or why I said I think mastin is town, which is mostly gut based on #7 and subsequent posts that fit that gut read. The elaborate reads don't make him look town because he's "trying to look town" as hiplop suggests... I don't think he was trying to look town there at all.
It has a lot to do with your read. Hiplop's argument is that Mastin was using those lists to look good, while it doesn't add a thing. Which is why he thinks it's scummy. You then ask how he could think this as it's a contradiction. But it's not. You liked those lists. It was one of the reasons you saw him as town. This was what Mastin-scum was trying to accomplish. But Hiplop doesn't share that same opinion. It's not a contradiction and you should know it.
Muffin wrote:But here's the thing. You think the only way I could possibly be scum is if mastin is town, and you think mastin is scum now, right? So durrrrrrrrr you should have a provisional town read on me if you have as scum read on mastin.
This is not how it works. Yes, I believe one of you is scum. Therefore, I'm trying to find out who the scum is between the two of you. Just because I think Mastin is scummier, doesn't give you a free pass for your actions. If Mastin flips scum, you're likely town, but you'll only earn that status if Mastin flips town.
Besides, the same applies the other way around as well. If you're scum, Mastin is likely town.
P.S. You're scummy. Give the towncred to someone else.
Maxous wrote:Tomie -123 wrote: And Toon has gotten himself in the 'scummy-looking' area~
I don't see it. Why is he scummy looking?
You don't see the 'OMG, Mastin's bandwagon looks interesting. It should be looked at. But I don't care so I won't look into it. After all, my vote was first so there's nothing wrong with it' (Rhetorical)
In other words, Toon doesn't like it that Mastin has 5 votes as Toon thinks he doesn't deserve it. It should mean that Toon should look at it. But instead, he keeps his vote on Mastin and 'defends' his vote already.
Muffin wrote:I'm actually surprised tomie's still on mastin. From the sounds of it, there's more reason to believe I'm scum than mastin.
"Hi, guys. I actually have no idea why Tomie is voting Mastin, but I'm gonna attack Tomie anyway for it"
You have no idea why I'm voting Mastin and yet you say this? Nice job~
Besides, aren't you doing the same with Phoebus and Hiplop? Questioning the one you aren't voting more than the one you are voting.
mastin2 wrote:
Seriously? You see this guy as town?edmund.angles wrote:zMuffinMan wrote:For the record, if you call me town, you too can earn a free pass into my town reads. It's that simple. Do it.
@zMuffin: Seriously?
Yes. You know, if my Paint skills would have been better, I'd have drawn the following:
-A house, which would have acted as the 'hide-out' of whatever you're gonna call your group of 'admirers'
-You, with a head as big that you can't see anything happening outside of the building and can only watch the 'admirers'
-Your 'admirers', who are slowly being pushed towards the end of the building by your head filled by lots of Ego
It would have come in two versions. One with Evil Mastin, using his Ego to make his 'admirers' attack innocent players. And one with Evil Admirer (Guess who), who would have made use of Ego Mastin.
I'm posting it here, so that you could picture it in your head for your own enjoyment, while I'm hoping players from before 2011 arrive to make a leak for all the Ego to go out.
GI wrote:Basically, I'm just going to lynch anyone who tries to use meta as their entire argument, or who argues they're town because of meta
Guess you've got a lot of voting to do, don't you agree?. Anyway, I disagree that using meta is bad.
Though some players *Hi, Pine* need to learn how to use it correctly~
Pine wrote:Shit stuck to Tomie = Tomie's reactions are far too defensive, awkward, and inconsistent. It's hard to point out a specific example when you're basing a judgment on a pattern.
Add '-A fainted Pine' into the drawing if he actually believes this.
@Pappums
Your thoughts about some players actually seeing Mastin's lists at the start of this game as good?
