Nikanor wrote:I'll do some vote analysis on Powerrox so we can hurry this wagon along.
  • First vote: Furry.
    • 4th vote on the wagon.
    • Votes Furry for not answering his question; this is just an excuse to join the easy wagon.
    • Later confirms his vote because Furry faked the daykill.

  • Second vote: NintendoAddict1.
    • 7th vote on the wagon.
    • Votes Nintendo for ???. I really haven't a clue.
    • He was still focused on Furry's daykill in his previous post, but his suspicion of Furry seems to evaporate with the Furrywagon; Powerrox doesn't say a thing about Furry ever again.

  • Third vote: evilpacman18.
    • 7th vote on the wagon.
    • Votes evilpacman for EPM's Parabollock's vote. Probably just another excuse to hop on an easy wagon.
    • Again, he hops off the Nintendo wagon after it halts and gives no further mention of Nintendo for the rest of the game. Doing this once is scummy, but doing it twice is a scumclaim. Powerrox is opportunistic scum.

Makes some better sense, would like to see a defense soon though.

Pine's 53 wrote:Lolfaildayvig.

Bye Animorph!
Bad news for people on the ToD wagon: this really implicates that ani and his subsequent replacement is town, especially given his sudden 180 shift on ani in his next serious post.

Pine's 71 wrote:That was retarded. Especially considering that my experience with Animorph does not warrant the policy vig at all. I'd vote your ass, but I don't see scum having that power or using it so stupidly.

And his subsequent posts suddenly defending ani of all things...yeah, ToD cannot be scum, absolutely cannot me.

That's all I can really find, unfortuantely. His sudden shift in tone(and a lot of his subsequent posts have him being really pissed at Furry) definitely conveys someone trying to unconsciously "white-knight" ani once he realized the daykill was probably fake.

---

So, I'm down with treating ToD as confirmed town. Groundsel, Juls, and Nikanor are also incredibly obvious town candidates. Regfan is town as well though I'd wish he'd stop voting me. Please?

Regfan wrote: Pines attitude and reaction the fake daykill on ToD makes it highly unlikely for him to be scum. The amount htat Pine defended the shot on ToD was extreme and an amount a scum partner wouldn't stick out their neck for a partner they seemed dead already.
Glad I'm not the only one to notice this.

Today, we're lynching diddin, Powerrox, or Parabollocks. Most people seem to think Pine bookied Para though, so I can guess I can throw him out for now(for the record, I highly, highly disagree, I think that nintendo would be a much likelier target especially if he's town). That leaves Powerrox and diddin.

Vote: diddin
because I love counter wagons.

VOTE: AntB

This is who we should be wagoning

Actually, powerrox might be scum, AntB is damned opportunistic and reads more scum to me

nintendo is town, trumpet of doom is probably town because of pine raging at furry's fake daykill - very much looks like he faked throwing a fit over a townie being executed.

Para had 7 votes on him at the end of the Day whereas nintendo would be a terrible lynch.

Para was yesterday's counter-wagon, highly unlikely that he would have been lynched today. I could see scum...actually, nintendo is pretty unlikely as well now that I really think about it. Bleag...we can scum WIFOM all we want but it isn't going to catch us scum. If we take an extra NK, we take an extra NK I guess. Also possible that Pine might have targeted himself, I could see scum using the role to clear one of their own(with a "result") and then getting an extra NK. Though that flip makes them look rather bad...especially the person who was "cleared". Yeah, that's a pretty unlikely theory as well.

Ugh.

Get on the diddin wagon, it's going to be a party.

How about we lynch people in this order:
Powerrox93

Parabollocks

AntB

diddin

gorilla

Gaoth

DemonHybrid

Seraphim

Juls

Regfan

CryMeARiver

CSL

Cogito Ergo Sum

Trumpet of Doom

NintendoAddict1

Groundsel

So Powerrox today, Parabollocks tomorrow, then AntB after them. Sound alright?

I've been burned by the whole "X is town because Y, who was scum, acted weird around X," shtick before, so I'm not buying it.
I thought ani was town though, so that's why I'm listing ToD as town.

*puts nintendo firmly in the "not worth responding to" category*

Pb 667: I think you were a decent enough potential target for the bookie that I'm not comfortable lynching you today.

Seraphim, talk me through your thought process for this sentence from 680: "Para was yesterday's counter-wagon, highly unlikely that he would have been lynched today." IIRC, the only reason Parabollocks wasn't lynched yesterday was because he hammered epm before his own wagon could get that far.

It's because I think Para is scum and I don't think Pine would have bookied one of his scum partners. Sorry I didn't make that clear. Do you want to hear my WIFOM thought process on that?

Nah, I can understand where thinking the bookie wouldn't pick a scumpartner comes from - seems to me that it's basically betting against your own team. I'm just not getting how Para's being the counterwagon yesterday makes him less likely to be lynched today.

Oh, that.

Let's pretend that Pine didn't flip today. Yesterday's counter-wagon is likely to be today's main wagon. So Para would have been wagoned, but even with 7 votes, counter-wagons often come about because it's better than the alternative. I postulate that, barring some sort of guilty result, Para would not have been lynched today unless there was a huge push from scum. Scum wouldn't want to be tied to a wagon or bet on it actually happening that would look that terrible.

That's my logic. Main wagons that fail to counter-wagon are much more likely to be revisited the next day than counter-wagons that failed to override the main one.

Doesn't make sense - he bookies a scum partner, busses the hell out of them, gets towncred and an extra kill as a result. I mean, maybe he didn't, but why bother risking the uncertainty when we can go after parabollocks another day?

@Nik - I might go along with that, but I'm in no hurry right now. Let's see how things pan out.

Attention Mod: I am going to lose internet tomorrow. I will *TRY* to find another access point, but I doubt it. I am announcing V/LA from right now until an unknown date. If you don't hear from me in three days, replace me immediately.

The only problem I have with powerox is that i feel it would be very hard to find a buddy for him. His interactions are few and all he's done is bother CES

Ant lynch might be useful too....

Consider my vote on Powerox in spirit. I am not going to lay down a vote and then be no access for two days. If it's still looking like Powerrox is scum when I get access again Sunday night/Monday morning then I will vote him. Also, with regards to the bookie. Thinking about it a little more, if they DO gain an extra kill it will be very important to look back at who pushed for that wagon.

@Mod:
Are scum required to use the kill the night that they gain it or can they hold on to it?

Sure, He's probably ignoring his buddies. Tbh, he's ignored everyone and everything but CES nitpicking

if i said this every game I wouldn't lynch scum :/
I guess that might be true, but a small part of me thinks he could flip town. However then I remember our last game togather and townpowerox provided much more content
I'm still swish with his lynch
