I don' think that Hinduragi has been acting town-ish in this game, but what he did was perfectly likely to get him killed N3 or D4. I only read his behavior as recruit-like, not recruiter. I really see it as between you and Nexus with Benmage a useless-and-vestigial-stump-where-a-townie-should-be third.
Well, I happen to be pretty sure it's neither me nor Nexus and I buy benmage's self-vote. Which leaves me with Hind.

I see no reason to attach special significance to the hammer. Hind wasn't notably more responsible for that lynch, I would think. And again, I find it entirely plausible that Hind may have believed benmage's counterclaim.

I am expecting someone to find the above scummy or contradictory to something I said earlier if I was trying to keep a town lynch from happening back then. If this happens, please focus more closely on them once I flip. I don't intend to let any part of my death lead to the CR and his buddy-recruits getting the spotlight thrown off of them.

So, Empking, you think that scum have no fakeclaims, no reasons to explain away why they're not recruitable, but cult, who can (in theory) recruit PRs and then role share amongst themselves do have fakeclaims?

Note also that in Hind's little story behind the hammer there, he's considering the possibility that benmage is lying yet there's no acknowledgement of the recruit suicide possibility (and Faraday would be no better judge of that than he would). Actually with the way this is playing out I think Emp is a scum watcher. Cult or town have far more to gain from untying the unrecruitable knot instead of hoping it passes by.
