You are a

Russian Spy

. You are here in the US looking for some very important documents that could end this Cold War in a Russian Victory.

Abilities:

You have the one-shot ability to search a dead body for a document. You may only search a body that has just died in a past phase, no longer because they put the bodies in the crypt after one phase. So if a player is killed during the day and you think they have a document, you must use this ability that night to find a document.

Each night you may search a live player for any documents. If they have any, you steal all.

Win-Con:

You win when you have collected all of the documents. You lose if a townie or a witch gathers all of them before you do.

Note: When a player is killed, the player that killed them will receive any documents they had after 2 phases. So if a player is killed during the day, they will receive any documents that player had the following day.

Note about the documents:
-Implosion gets all=he wins
-Town gets all=that player gets an override kill and the spy is killed immediately
-Mafia gets all=They get an override kill and the spy is killed immediately
-If a player dies with one, whoever kills them receives the documents in the next same phase (so if a player with documents is killed at night, the player who killed them will receive them the following night)
-Overall, there were 3, Jason, SK, and CC all started the game with one



Note about the game:
I thought it went pretty well, the town got unlucky in several places that I will discuss later.

Overall Thoughts on the Game

I thought both sides played very well. Implosion, you had probably the hardest role and yet you were probably the most trusted player, as seen with the night votes. You probably would have won if it weren't for the mafia finally gaining the night kill.

Mafia got very lucky in several places:

MOI getting brainwashed

The mafia grabbed probably the best town PR that they could have gotten to be converted. With the ability to overthrow any elected executioner one time, the mafia could easily get rid of the cop. Now some of you might wonder, what would have happened if a different role was converted. Well, let's see:

Vanilla Townie-->Godfather
Cop-->Cop (would get "Town" "Not Town" results)
Town Leader-->Twisted Leader (Day vote would be worth 2x, night vote would be worth 4x)
Ballot Trustee-->Ballot Searcher (Would know who voted for who each night)
Spy-->Thief (Same abilities, just sided with witches now)

Zang Getting killed

Soon after the game started I was like "Oh Crap" because the cop could easily just claim and stay alive in this setup. The thought soon dissipated because I realized that was only possible if the mafia converted either the town leader or trustee, and neither happened.

Good to note if I plan on doing future games like this.

Not one mafia was killed AGAIN

Not one single mafia was killed this game. If one had been killed, the NK would practically have been impossible for the mafia to obtain. However, they remained strong with 3.

Implosion got a little unlucky too with that one roleblock and then doing too good of a job being town which got him killed by the mafia.






I really enjoyed running this (except for the 10 million replacements and the 1 mod-kill) and I hope you guys enjoyed playing it. Thank you all!

Holy shit. Twisted Leader is so unbalanced. The rest seem reasonable though.

also, I don't really see there being a problem with implosion leaving the game if he had won because I was assuming that some mafia would get killed in this process. When it comes down to lylo though, having implosion still in game was very dangerous for the town.

Oh yeah, MOI used his one-shot overthrow on Zang Day 2 if that wasn't apparent
