As I see it, the two points of discussion left for this day are Riven and Leo's role claims, and and who to lynch, although this really depends on what we decide about their claims.

unvote:Riven

I'm not going to keep my vote on someone claiming a member of the fellowship. I would expect all of them to be in the game. It certainly looks like that sofar with the dead characters.
Also Riven did not claim basic townie, but claimed no night choice. He could easily be a mason together with Pippin. Until someone stands up and claims Merry as well I'll believe him.

Unvote Riven
. That would be an insane suicide of a role claim for scum.
Ever wonder why that edit button is obnoxiously placed in the center like that? Yeah, that's cause of me.. and trust me, it's better off there.

Hey, Eomer was evil too!

I don't think we should back off so soon, as Merry was WITH Eomer in the book/movie, in Rohan..........

He was NOT Eomer, that was just a failed role-claim.

Does someone need to poke Leo and let him know that he hasn't been replaced here?

He's been posting in the other games but not here... :?

I'm here.

There seems to be an attempt to divert the Town's attention towards me. I am flattered, but there are signs in this thread pointing to the fact that I'm not the best possible target for the Town.

Who's your vote for, then, Leo?

(See day one votes. Zoneace has two votes on him. Mr Gnome it all tries to create an alternative by voting Flying Dutchman, I think).

Just reviewed the day one voting. I see what you mean, but then FD was acting quite suspicious by fosing people without saying why and revealing where the game was set. I agree that Gnome was suspicious, but I don't think its enough to cast a vote on, more just something to bear in mind in the future.

Is no one else struck by the similarities of Riven's and Zone's claims? Both claimed to be a character that rode with the Rohirrim and both said they don't have any abilities. They are essentially making the same claim with different names.

Beginning this game, I would've though Eomer would certainly be in it. In fact, I would have unvoted Zone, except for his insistence he was not out at night. Now, it seems Eomer isn't in the game; why should we assume Merry is? Riven did, after all, defend Zone.

Riven wrote:Woah, slow down people, your about to lynch a 'Merry' hobbit.

Tis true though, I have no night choice.

Well, the same applies here, i'd say.

Yeah, plus, IMO, claiming Merry would be kinda risky for a scum. I seriously doubt Riven is evil (at least in the game  ).

Perhaps he's a mason? (with Pippen)

Maybe not, just a thought.

No Pippin has yet come forth to claim him... Is there a mason in the house?

Noooo.
Pipen don't come out.
THere's no reason to expose him whether he's a mason or not. I don't think scum would chance claiming Merry this early in the game. I think we should move on from Riven entirely.

I agree we should back off Riven. He's good for now.

CoolBot, we don't know Eomer's not in the game. A clever (or, perhaps, just one that doesn't check the board very often) Eomer would wait to see if ZONEACE was going to be lynched anyway
without
needing to reveal who he was.

I never understood the argument against Leo. Why is there
any
reason to think FlyingDutchman was targeted last night? He asked for protection the night before!!! Evil's not usually that stupid.
