POWERFUL WIZARDS MAFIA: AN INTERLUDE

This uses the BaM Ruleset with one small modification: 24 hour nights maximum.

This has Dungeons and Dragons flavor but flavor knowledge is NOT necessary (but could be helpful).

Campaign Mafia

11 players - 6 town, 5 scum

The goal of the game is to form a new City Council of 5 players that must contain a majority of your faction - at least 3 town for a town win, or at least 3 scum for a scum win.

Each day, 2 players will campaign for a Council position, with the rest of the players voting between them. One candidate will always be town, and the other will always be scum. The winner of each election will become a part of the City Council and exit the game. The loser will be killed.

To become a candidate, you only need to volunteer. The first player (either town or scum) to volunteer will enter the election for that day. Following that, the thread will be locked, and the scum will choose the

other

candidate. The second candidate must be of the opposite alignment as the volunteer - if the volunteer was part of the scum-team, then the scum must choose a townie to run against them, and vice versa.

Each day will be divided into 3 parts:

Morning

(maximum 1 week) - The players talk until someone volunteers to run for the Council.
(If nobody volunteers, then the scum get to choose both candidates.)

Afternoon

(maximum 72 hours) - The scum talk privately and choose the volunteer's opponent.

Evening

(maximum 1 week) - The rest of the players vote between the two candidates.
(If no majority is reached before the deadline, then the scum candidate will automatically be elected. Exceptions will be made only if replacements are needed.)
