Newbie 1116 -- Game Over

b. Out of the people who were not V/La, Zach had been gone the longest so I figured a vote on him would make him come back... which worked.

I'm not going to prod The Fonz until Sunday; I don't see the point when a third of the payers are on V/LA until tomorrow.

Cymru's vote is bad. VE's unvote indicates to me that he's probably playing with a pro-town wincon and that I've likely been wrong about him the entire game and it's been more a clash of playstyles rather than one pertaining to alignment.

I don't really have a case against Fonz, it's mostly a combination of gut and process of elimination that make me think he's probably scum. (Him being the only remaining experienced player besides me.)

I'm becoming more interested in cymru actually. His vote on me doesn't really fit with his previous votes and stances, I'm starting to think he's more interested in just getting lynches moreso than he is in actually finding scum. Thinking about it, after a quick glance of his iso, his voting patterns are really starting to bother me, and it's occured to me that I've never taken a serious look at him, and I don't really get scumvibes from Grimm or Workdawg.

Well, I'm back... but I have a lot of work to catch up on first. Thankfully, not much has happened while I was gone. Cymru's vote was dumb, but I don't think it was really that big of a deal. Unless this was the real reason for your vote, but then it's not truly a reasonless vote anymore is it? It has a message you were apparently unwilling to confront.

I'm suspect your vote had a "lynch the lurker" tone to it in that you were hoping others would be tempted to and actually hop onto the wagon before we had any serious discussion following the end of the V/LAs.

Threre are two scum, and I can't see two OTHER people being scum that don't include TheFonz...unless one of them is ZachRulez, which I'm finding harder and harder to believe. TheFonz has kinda disappeared, which by itself isn't telling as half the GAME has disappeared at one point or another over the last couple of weeks...but now we're closing in on decision-time and he's gone. So is Grimm, and he's voting for me...I don't like that.

At any rate, I think that Fonz and Workdawg are the scum team and Fonz tried to shoot last night....but COULDN'T *flex*.

As I said before, I don't find one more likely than the other...but my feeling and vote is based on his last post which read more like manipulation of YOUR words, and based on his general absence from the thread here in what could be the final hours if we're wrong.

Actually, my vote is NOT because he disappeared...it's the TIMING of his disappearance and probable REASON for his disappearance. I didn't vote for him BECAUSE he disappeared. Otherwise I would've voted Grimm. Don't misrepresent me cymru, or I'll sick the misrepresentation police (Grimm) on you .

My lead pairing at the moment is actually Fonz/Cymru

I'm really not liking Cymru's recent play of vote the lurker/person who's disappeared, mostly because the game at this point has had a lot of V/LAs and general apathy, and this kind of a play is very easy to selectively apply. (Notice how the play allows him to attempt to get away with pretty much contradicting his previous voting patterns with little to no explanation.) This is how you get a mislynch in a lylo/mylo sitution. You get the town thinking in terms of activity alone rather than the substance of any activity or lack of activity.

This is a key point in VE's favor. He's been after me for most of the game for substance and activity, and he's going after Fonz for the same reasons. This indicates an interest in actually figuring out alignments. Cymru's basically sitting around while not really contributing much else advancing the thought process of "oh hey, let's go after people that disappear from the thread." which ignores the risk of casting votes carelessly in that manner.

Process of elimination is what leads me to Fonz/Cymru. I've had a pretty strong gut town read on Workdawg who's seemed pretty open to me, and GrimmJow I have a hard time seeing as scum most particularly after the way he reacted to a falsely perceived attack from me on D2.

I've just thought of a reason why Fonz might be absent. All kinds of bad shit's going down in the cities in the Uk so it might not be his fault that he's absent. Unless he's out on the streets then shame on you

Ugh... this stupid gambit is still stuck in my head. It makes a ton of sense, but at the same time, we'd be in LYLO if there was an NK last night, not MYLO... so yeah. Considering that, I have to admit that VE seems all but confirmed to me. I have trouble believing that based on his play... but whatever.

That said, I don't really know who scum is. Cymru continues his pattern of mildly WTFage. I just reread his ISO and two things occurred to me, he's been calling me Wordawg this whole time. (missing the K)... which explains his nickname of "Word" I suppose. Second, I'm not sure I agree with Zach that his last vote is inconsistent with his other votes (aside from the MissJJ stuff). He has always tended to use his vote to get some kind of action out of the game. Usually its to get a response from someone he is voting for, but hey.

The Fonz bumps to my top suspect I guess (after VE is forced out), but he's AWOL. As cym pointed out, it's certainly possible the riots are causing this, and if so... good luck to him.
