After reading what loudmouthlee posted regarding DG's behavior, i took a look through the first page again at the posts and surrounding posts that were analyzed. After reading them again, I began to see the possibility of summiness that was being mentioned (esp the post assuming fritz isn't mafia). I am going to, for now,
vote DrippingGoofball
. I also will be unvoting if this starts to excalate really quickly.

That is accurate, I wanted to show my stance, but make it clear that I wasn't going to be supporting a rash, speedy lynch. I saw that the bandwagon was already growing fast.

yes, but few could argue with the fact that votes speak louder, and more quickly than words.

LoudmouthLee wrote:I feel, since we have the time, we start a new bandwagon. My pick, although Tidus looks suspicious, is MoS. He sits here, cries about how great he is, and lurks. I dislike his play style immensely. However, when he's forced to post, he can give the town some well needed info. Let's give him a reason to come out and play. We can see if there's a connection between Tidus, MoS and Cesspit.

Unvote, but IGMEOY: DG and Vote: MoS

I urge everyone to do the same.
i agree with you, i think that by starting a bandwagon on MoS, we can hopefully get some more info out on the table. especially, information on anything that might be between those three. to continue with the pressure voting, i'll

unvote DG

vote Mastermind Of Sin

because MoS has returned and made a lot of good points in his post (especially those against tidus) i will

unvote MoS

and i'm going to reserve my vote until i reread everything taking into account the points MoS just made about Tidus.

ok so i've played one game with fritz before, and i thought that his "squirrely" behavior was scummy starting day one. stuff we all think is random or just uncalled for. the rest of the town did not agree with me and lynched me. he ended up being scum in the end... idk if that makes a good enough case, but i'm

voting fritz
now...

last game they justified it because "that is just how he plays." idk if i buy that. he seems to be showing a lot of similar tendencies that he did then.

this is true, i don't think it would be a very good risk to take to have one scum spearhead an assault on two others in order just to appear non-scummy. i think yosarian is fine.

Twomz wrote: BUT... I don't think of the scum lynched, nor any of the above list would have been the recruit target and the strange train of logic my mind takes points me towards an "experienced" or "more confirmed" player as the last mafioso.
well seeing as you think it's probably a 'more expeienced' player, maybe that's why they haven't shown up as conforming to any sort of scummy pattern. nevertheless, i think that your list of people seems to have a solid basis to it and i think it should be followed until otherwise noted.

i forgot about that, i remember broomhead being the last person to cast a vote, and at the time i felt like he was just doing his civic duty to the town. not being scummy.

MrBuddyLee wrote:JamesSparrow, you voted Cesspit after reading Twomz's vote summary post. Broomhead had a pretty much identical voting record to Cesspit. What made you decide to vote Cess instead of broomhead?

Also, what's your reasoning behind finding Fritzler scummy, if you still do?
I think that a lot of my decision to vote for cess rather than for broom was because of the context of the post made by twomz, specifically following it. I got a very angry-defensive vibe from cesspit's posts, they seemed frustrated and angry. i suppose those are also things that could be felt by any of us if there was a bandwagon against us, but the way his reacting posts were made gave me a scummy feeling towards him.

As for fritz, my reason for thinking he's scummy is his "playstyle" which has shown itself a number of times not only in this game. that is--sporadic voting, voting without posting reasons, being an all-around reckless player. i'm not sure it infers that he's mafia, but that has been the case in the past. call it classical conditioning i guess. when i see him acting like that, it reminds me of when he was acting that way, distracting from the fact that he was scum.

oh and i wanted to mention, when looking at the day where DGB was lynched, DGB had one of 5 votes on LML. the number of votes on DGB was 6, only one away from those on LML. We know that DGB was mafia, and wouldn't it be safe to take from that, that DGB wouldn't be voting for one of his mafia buddies if they were one vote away from being lynched? what i'm trying to say with this, is that Mr. BL is probably town, right?

creampuff, i think you're looking into my post a little bit too much. i was just saying that i was aware that i hadn't posted in some time, but i had been reading the topic. at that point i felt that my opinions were of little or no value to the flow of the thread. sorry if it threw off a scummy vibe but it wasn't really anything of importance.
