I told him that the game had started up again today at school... and i guess he decided to post a vote count (although it was wrong... w/e) He's a crazy kid, and his posting style is even more scummy than mine ( I know, i thought it was impossible too) but as long as he doesn't do anything silly like, claim when no ones voting for him... or annoy people to the point where we lynch him just to get him out of the game... it should be ok.


Getting back on track... has everyone checked in for the day? Maybe we should send out some prods?

And although I just took The Unwritten's first post as a regular example, his explanation of what he was saying looked a little too scummy to me. I personally dislike it when people defend themselves by ignoring accusations.

This is where I was going with this, I had another question, but I decided to not ask it, too helpful for scum.

Ok, so why didn't it occur to you that the question you already asked was too helpful for the cult?

You just dug for information and, because of your questions, the cult now knows that "This person is recruit-proof, and this other person could be recruited, but the town will know right away unless the two masons are dead first".

I strongly suspect that you were digging for that information because you are part of the cult. Otherwise, how did you expect the town to gain by finding that information out?

The town did gain something: The knowledge of a method to find converted people. The problem is that we could have find that after the first one got converted and lynched. Without letting the cult know that the "Parents" should be dead first.

@ VisMaior: We're assuming that we have a cult because the masons' role PMs specifically say something about conversion. My post was an explanation to "Why revealing all the information about masons isn't so good".

@ The Unwritten: We should worry about that. Maybe not now that we have many people left, but in the late game it becomes crucial. You can't expect to have the same luck we had Day 1 every day.
"It doesn't matter if there are more mafiosos than you think" isn't the kind of logic we should use if we want to win this one...

I didn't NEED to fish for any such information. I asked guided questions from my own information so that the town can get information from two reputable sources, myself and your pair. This way one of doesn't need to die, but the town can and will gain the knowledge I feel we need.

I was suprised to see my own line in his post, Glork made a nice story around it so it didn't look like he was forced to do so.

Erm... did Fritz say that he sent a message to Glork yesterday as well as thok today? If the answer is yes, i guess we can assume that TU is lying. I don't see the point in two players that can do that in a game, unless there's a certain game related reason for it.

Proof of ability is not proof of alignment, but Glork can most definately at least confirm whether or not this happened, and until then I don't think I should analyze TU's claim.

Hmm, how to say this without getting modkilled.....

I did in fact recieve a PM from the Mod indicating that there was a line I had to say. I was also told that I can't say that I was forced to write that line, so I'm not going to say what that line was. (This is why I was concerned that Thok claimed he was given a posting restriction. I was explicitly told that I couldn't reveal the words that were not my own, so I was wondering why Thok would've come out and said that.) So I definitely believe that TU has the ability he claims. Although (as Bacde said) proof of ability is not proof of alignment, I know that TU's telling the truth in what he claims to have done. Thus, I'm not willing to lynch him just yet. I definitely think it's possible that there are scumbags who would try to spread lies and/or propaganda via post restrictions, but I'm going to shelve those suspicions at the moment.

I'm don't know if TU is free to name the line that I had to say, but I can't reveal that line, so I'm not going to.



Thus, it's back to the Tamuzwagon.
