One out of the five living townies is a power role. There's a two-thirds chance that one of the remaining four townies is a power role.

The simple fact that leaving cavjj alive means that he could hammer any townie without further discussion means that we have no choice but to kill him.

The simple fact is that UNLESS we put someone at L-1, cavjj cannot hammer them. (Yes, there's the possibility that we put someone at L-2, then OtherScum votes, and cav hammers, but the odds of both of them being online simultaneously are not high).

Can I just say that if we DO indeed have a jailkeeper (I'm not sold on whether or not cav is rolecop, yet) that said jailkeeper should block cav to keep him from outing more power roles (if he's still alive)?

P-Edit: Having said all that, I'm okay with hammering now.

Is the rolecop notified of the result of his investigation before the night ends

Mafiascum standard is that if there are any investigative roles of any kind in any game, the results of those investigations are not revealed to that individual until the start of the next day.

The day was long and trying, the town working hard to prevent the mistakes of yesterday from being repeated. Finally, one member, on the brink of receiving rope, decides to speak up.

In one final attempt to selfishly save himself, cavjj proclaims "trust me guys, I'm on your side!"

But the Council wouldn't have any of his lies. One by one, the members of the town denied him of any defence.

With a huge sigh, cavjj realizes it's a failing attempt. "Well if that's the way you want it, FINE. You guys will be sorry, you'll see!" With one final snicker, and a good riddance, the deed was done.

Though despite this turn of events, many feared of meeting the same fate as their fallen comrade the night before.

But as the dawn broke, the town tasted what seemed like yet another glimpse of hope...

Ploy to make us think there's a doctor/jailkeeper so the mafia can claim it later? Or, there simply could be one or both and one of them protected or blocked the right guy. What do you guys think, should we ask a potential jailkeeper to tell us who he jailed?

I don't like the "yay" response to stuff like that. It's just commenting on something positive for town to make it look like you're happy or something. There is nothing to be happy about. Now we know nothing more than we did yesterday and there are a good number of scummy players left.

Not really. There's also the possibility that it was the doc who came through. The jailer could've jailed the victim too.
