Vifam, vezok normally shamelessly bandwagons as town. Most of the time he claims day 1 for no reason.

So when you note an abberation from normal town play in a player, you take note of it.

my problem is with the fact that he USUALLY bandwagons (at any "day" of a game, much less day 1) giving no content and lurks. What I am attacking right now, is the fact that he goes out of his way to comment on max's wagon, like it is scummy. when he himself in previous games does this. so why is it now commet worhty in this game, when he does it constantly?....no matter the alignment. it is a meta thing...

think I am making this up, feel free to meta a game or two of his...you should instantly see where I am coming from.

Just because he's making more of an effort and not sheeping brainlessly doesn't mean he's scum. It could, but it's too hard to tell this early in the game.

I've been scum with IS on several occasions (including my first flawless victory), and I don't think I've ever seen him white knighting as scum. I don't see this reasoning as valid at all.

On the other hand, the OMGUS reaction to Thief was a little bit scummy. Not enough to make the top suspect list, though.

Hmm, correct me if I misread the mechanics somewhere, but when 3 people get into the hot seat, we vote to save one and the other two die, right? Is there any validity to a FATALITY method where we throw up one obvtown with two scummy people and then slamdunk the scum into the depths?

EBWOP: Answering my own question somewhat, I suppose it's possible that scum have a way to survive the hot seat, but I'm guessing it's probably not multi-shot and we'd just kill them the next day if they used it. It's still a 1 for 2 trade if they do it, right?

@MoS: It can work pretty well after day 1. (we did it last game and lynched two scum at the same time against Fate.) I don't want to do it day 1 in order to get more information though. With the multitude of votes flowing around, day action is great food for scumhunting (everyone has two votes, plus a save vote. That's three votes of actual information to base people off of.)
