Secondly, iamusername, if a non-sane cop isn't a variant, what is? The list contains pretty much every role in the game. All the ones on the "normal" list are regular and can be used freely. What does that leave? the ones on the "non-normal" list. All "new/variant" roles are going to be on the "non-normal" list. Therefore, (*I* don't think) you can't rule out for certain the possibility of a non-sane cop, or whatever.

I'm not guessing, or stating an opinion or whatever. I am telling you it is a straight up fact that non-sane cops are not allowed in normal games.

But soon order resumes, and one by one, fingers are pointed at one person: bobsnox. He sweats profusely, and mumbles a denial, but it is too late as the mob is already upon him. As they fit a noose around his neck he screams and claws desperately at the rope. Bobsnox continues to struggle as he's carried up to the rafters, and dropped.

Gasping for air, he looks up and sees the ghost of Bub Bidderskins before him. Their eyes meet, and bobsnox' last words excape from his dying lips,

"You!"

As he slips into the abyss he sees Bub's face. A smiling face. Ah, revenge is sweet...

Day Two Dawns!

As the sun peaks over the horizon, there is much stirring inside the church. Many are still in shock from the events of the previous day. The town gathers itself up and performs a headcount.

"Hikari, Substrike, Friend, Whiskers, Tovarish, Xvart, Noramp, Panacea, iamusername, monk, Maruchan, they're all here."

"Wait, aren't we missing one?"

"Where's Scumhunter?"

The town erupts into chaos. People run ever which way screaming at the top of their lungs. Chaos reigns as the pews are turned on end and the stain-glass windows are shattered. Then, a calm voice penetrates the madness.

"I was just in the bathroom!"

Everyone stops in their tracks, and all eyes slowly gaze over towards Scumhunter.

There is a 10 -11% chance depending upon the number of scum in this game, and upon whether you were saved by a doctor at all.

IF you want to be mathy about it, yes.

However, we have fallen deeply into love with Link and the Mafia knows that. If they couldn't strike crippling blows they never would have risen to their prestigious position...

Besides, we all laredy think link is town, if he flipped town it would give us no new information. Link was really the Nightkill of choice. Attractive, insightful, charismatic, and a cop to boot. There was no better kill.

Hello everyone. Happy hunting. I still got a couple of pages from D1 to read but I should have everything posted by early tomorrow.

This is all I can do for now, will try to get in a post later but busy for the evening as well:

Of the 3 votes on me, 0 of them surprise me. I still have an OMGUS from Whiskers, a decent amount of actually valid criticism from Scumhunter, and then a super cool vote from our newly claimed cop. When I do flip town, should I be lynched, I invite everyone to take a hefty look into Scumhunter's play this game. He's posted as close to every 48 hour margin as possible through day 1.

Whiskers is striking me more and more as a town member who I just managed to make hate me, and thus she seems hell bent on lynching me. Which is fine and understandable but I wish she'd reconsider. I think if there's scum just jumping on the wagon at this point it's one of the other two. I stand by my initial statement that Maruchan is probably scum but even then I'm not really sure anymore.

On a re-read I did over the night, I confess that my Scumhunting this game has so far been rather horrible and I've rather come to the conclusion that I'm bad at this game as a player. I'll just claim VT and Resident VI at this point and go from there. I no longer have any real conviction on who is scum in this game.

I won't be able to post again for a bit, I'll try to get one in on Thursday evening, I have to help my brother move his stuff back to college... not sure I'll have any internet access through that time. If I do I'll try to get another post in to answer questions.
