Actually, that's not such a bad idea. The main problem with walls is that you can't get people to actually peruse them, so they just skim (I reference you to Krazy calling me out for mentioning Epsilon only once and Johhog saying I gave no explanation about the chain lynching, which I have). A replacement however, is confirmed to itself and has a reason to read the slot's posts.

Also, I made an alt to take a newbie spot because there's no other way. I have WAY too many games to be a SE, and don't remember my last 5 games in order with certainty (requirement for first time ICs).

Compulsive. Not Impulsive. If it was impulsive, I would have done it at 3 in the morning, when I went to sleep. Or maybe at 8, when I went to work. But I waited a full twelve hours.

If Lord had claimed before he replaced out, I would actually agree with Xeras here. As it is though, with a few town power roles in this game, I really cannot support hammering without a claim, regardless of my own personal views on Lord/Meransiel at the moment.

Poor form, especially for a game for new players Xeras. Almost every early hammer I have ever seen has been a badhammer.

btw, talk about fantastic examples of "lampshading" -- Xeras claiming he is a compulsive hammering, and then early hammering, is a fantastic example of that. It's not always a scumtell, but it's always anti-town behavior (if that makes sense).

He shouldn't of even been in this game, considering he is an alt. He is asking for a replacement, so he doesn't even want to play. Or rather, has lost his desire to. He already accepted that he would be lynched. He had a chance to claim, but decided not too.

Xeras, there's no reason YOU should punish THE TOWN for MERANSIEL'S poor choices. I think replacing out was the right call, even if it is an inconvenient one for Uite if we ended up just lynching him anyway. The fact is some of the votes on Lord's wagon was from people who haven't posted in a few real life days and haven't caught up on multiple wall posts.

What's even more annoying is that you pretty much didn't even seem to do this because you even found him all that suspicious, your vote has been on Racerman previously, and you gave no indication of why or how Xeras became more appealing to you than Racer. Instead, you downplayed your own vote by relying on the "I am a compulsive badhammerer!" excuse instead of naturally following it from your own suspicions. Your posts on M seem more based out of annoyance with him than out of actual suspicion.
