I'd like to ask everyone a few questions just know of everyone's experience and philosophy. Now this isn't required, but I'd appreciate it and it'll help me read you earlier.

- What is your prior experience with Mafia? How many games have you played at Mafiascum? How many games have you played elsewhere?

- Should the vigs claim early?

I normally have something involving a cop for philosophy, so I'm kind of at a loss. I'll post my answer to the philosophy after I hear some of your responses.

2-Well are we talking game breaking strategy? I mean there are lots of ways we can try to fix this seeing that we have 6 doctors for protection but it also allows for scum to claim vig and then if we protect them, they dont have a chance to die and we if we dont protect the outed vigs we risk losing them at night. If we try to lynch the scummiest of the vig claims then we risk lynching an actual vig. So NEVERMIND...at this point I don't see any reason why that would be a good idea.

(did it ever gain activity again?)
2 - Philosophy - Should the vigs claim early? All we get if vigs claim would be a SK counter claim and maybe a mafia counter claim.

1. I've played only face to face and on MS. I played regularly for about three years, then took a long break. But I've played in a large number games.

I prefer to see where my vote is best placed first. Just because Vitamin is scummiest right now doesn't mean that someone won't come in with an even scummier reaction/comment to the interactions between us as players. We'll see where things fall- and another thing: I vote when I feel the need. My vote is still in RVS. No one will force my hand.

2. It is entirely dependent on the situation, but more often than not, yes. I doubt we are going to find a breaking strategy, but we can at least maximise our chances. Not right away though; the Vigs should claim at what seems like the best time from their point of view, as pro-town players.

6 months of chat-based before finding mafiascum, over 500 games played in it. 1 completed, 4 or 5 dead-in on-site. Alive in 6 or 7. I forget.

No. I think we should ALL (scum vig doctors all) claim ONE person we are going to save tonight. Has to be different people. Then whoever's save claim dies, DUN DUN DUN. We look into them. Of course, they'll claim vig. So after 3 vig claims, WE CAUGHT ONE SCUM.

2 - philosophy: I agree with glowball. Having a vig claim wouldn't help much.

I've got a question for you all: What is your favourite role to play, and why?
Mine is pretty much anything besides vanilla townie. Which is why I love setups like this where there are no VT's, so no matter what I get I'm happy. But if I have to choose just one, it'd probably be Mafia Rolecop, not only to I get to be mafia and mess with everyone's head, I get to be a cop too :3

Well I would LOVE to mod that setup, but I played it in a crap section of a crap forum with a bunch of crap players. It may work better here.

@Piggy that's a hard one. I've only played as townie, doctor, and goon, but given the choice, I would want one of the following.

Godfather, especially with a big scumteam. Call me a power-hungry ego-centric maniac but... Oh, wait...

Dayvig. I just want to have a massive, drawn-out argument with someone over their scumminess, shoving them into a corner, and finshing them off with a dayvigging. Even better if they actually

are

Vig, Mime, Gunsmith, or Paranoid Gun Owner.

Mime- lol i get to troll and WIFOM the town into lynching me, and its my role's purpose to troll, so I get to do it without feeling like a dick.
Vig- Fuck yeah lets kill some kids.
Gunsmith- I can control the direction the game takes. DUN DUN DUN
