Iecerint, this may shed some light on things:

I have a power that keeps a person who I target from switching sides. My passive is that no one can force me to do an action or switch sides.

If that makes any sense at all to you, let me know. For a while, I thought I was the one that was targeted with a side switching action, but since you mentioned that...

My role PM changed last night, but not with regard to alignment. Since the Mod hinted at alignment-modulators existing in the game, this means someone else may've been modulated.

So what has been modulated with your role.

I also want to point out that even if Iec's Town wincon is untouchable he may very well get into a situation where he is tempted to play for an alternative wincon that is contrary to town's interests. And this suggests that there are at least three factions in game because if he would just get a scum wincon in addition to a town wincon ... that would simply make no sense....

There is no scum motivation to claim that role along with a breadcrumb like that. It may be an iffy town play, but it practically confirms kiwi to me.

I don't have any role-related information about modulations. My information was based only on modtalk. I engaged in modtalk only because of my personal knowledge of my character's flavor, and I got lucky. I don't believe I've held any of the modtalk back, so I don't have any secret extra facts I'm matching up DH's claim with, if that's what he's going for.

I do think DH's roleclaim sounds like it could plausibly fit with the universe implied by the modtalk.

To be clear, I didn't get an alternate wincon last night, either. I dun wanna elaborate beyond that re: SD's question.

I know nobody on this site likes looking into NKs, but it seems strange that given my claim and instant attack on Esp and DH's championing of the wagon that neither of us were killed and KJ was instead. Perhaps fearful of watchers or something. KJ was in agreement about getting Morthas D2, and seemed to think Vifam was scummy. Take it for whatever you want. Morthas is definitely the place to start today.

Worth noting that Vifam could have been alternascum, as Raynor -> cannot vote -> Kerrigan makes a lot of sense, and Kerrigan+Arcturus scumteam makes very little sense, unless it's a Starcraft Episode 6-type alliance-type scumteam, but then Raynor would be scum with Kerrigan, too, and he wouldn't implicate her by saying he couldn't vote the Overlord-claimer.

Strange flavour for Edmund Duke... After all he was an opportunist who was all to happy to switch sides...

But one thing is clear... Main element of StarCraft storyline is treason which basically means every one against every one (somehow they had to make sure that all races somehow fight each other in all constellations in every campaign )

With this in mind I do not lile at all how certain people (explicitely Scott and kiwi) seem to base their analysis and claims on the assumption that there is only one possible night kill. I expect to see SKs and vigs in this game and if there's anything that made killerjester a likely scum kill I cannot see it.

More importantly that would imply that town was the UED (and their enslaved swarms)... Definitely not the case.

Curiously, my passive says that I cannot be targeted by "recruiting" powers, so I'm assuming that the mafia have the power to recruit someone.

Perhaps that's what happened to Iece, and perhaps that's why his alignment didn't change.

I do agree that more kills were possible. That was actually my first impression of the bulletproof claim, more likely an SK than scum.
