i would also like to point out that directing where the vigs shot goes tells mafia who is going to be hit <assumign she follows it> this means that it makes it easier for mafia to decide their target

lets use maru as an example. lets say maru is scum. lets say we all said "vig vote: maru". that signals maru and his partner "well, im dying tonight, so not only will i perform the kill, but i'll go after the vig since i'll die anyway"...essentially if we correctly hit a mafia with who we vote as vig target, whisper dies and we lost our vig. sure we killed a mafia, but we lost our extra kill.

or lets say maru wasnt mafia and we still all said "vig vote: maru". thats a signal to the mafia to NOT hit maru tonight because the vig is doing their job for them.

openly directing a vig kill at this point seems...anti town. unless someone can give me a reason otherwise of course, but as of right now this just seems like it helps the mafia more than us.

I totally confused this with Mayo Clinic.

We were talkign about vig targets and I'm on the verge of falling asleep (about to head to bed) so I confused which tab I was on.

This tab and my Mayo Clinic Tab are the two right next to each other, with 3 tabs on either side of these two games, so they were easily confusable.

Maybe I should change them around so these two games are further apart in my MafiaGames Window. We'll see tomorrow when I'm not half asleep.

I like being a SUPER-COOL-LEADER.

If you're talking about Psychic Mafia, I was intimidated by the playerlist there. This game is the first non-Newbie Game I've played in where ~1/2 the playerlist have later join dates than me, and meta be damned, I'm going to make the most of it.

What is this I don't even.

Of all players alive, Hoopster is basically the only one that has expressed stances on everyone. How can he be leading the town WAY too hard when he is tunneled on Maruchan and everyone but him think he is not scum?

We're not debating if being a strong, vocal leader is a tell. I'm stating that the Hoppster I've seen in other games has been MUCH more reserved and shy and timid, and he's been town all the other times. It's also CRUCIAL for scum to be at least somewhat in control in this game, since the watcher/vig combo can devastate them.
