I think you're missing the point, Whiskers. Monk's "trap" wasn't a trap at all. How the hell is what monk did a trap? It's not.

Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with changing your vote during RVS, because it elicits reactions from people as it did in this case. monk has no reason to claim it was a trap, other than it really was a trap. Empking reacted and used it as a reason to vote for monk. I don't like that. Friend used it as a reason to vote for monk too. I don't like that either.

I don't think there is either. You're misunderstanding my position. I think it's scummy that instead of saying "there's nothing wrong with changing your vote in RVS, it's not a big deal, calm down" he said "LOL it was a trap Empking I've caught you as scum." It makes no sense unless he's nervous about his play, which I find scummy. Town have no reason to be nervous.

This is incredibly nervous, sorry. I was simply paraphrasing. He doesn't go into the nature of his trap or why it's even a trap in the first place. I don't think he intended to set a trap at all from the looks of this post - I just don't think monk is a good enough player to think that far ahead. I've played with him before.

Pseudo is meh, his stance seems to be what TK would like to call fence-sitting (btw TK where the hell are you. ) for saying he doesn't like stuff but only minor nitpicks and staying off with any votes.

whispers is my current favorite scumpick. She's getting seriously flustered over semantics. The entire fight was... semantics. blah blah 'twist words' really it didn't make much of a difference anyway and I just don't see why it was that big of deal that he said it that way, yeah maybe it was a little much but I imagined the same kind of thing when I read that post the first time.

Scummy does not always equal scum, your trap was bad and poorly placed 'traps' catch townies just as much as scum. Your reaction to this just adds more to the pile.

is even fluffier. No solid reads; just "slight town" and NO scumreads. Just votes whisper for basically the thing he saw when he hit submit. He's staying on the surface and not doing anything hard-hitting, which is something scum love to do. I made a whole case against scum in LYLO in a recently-completed newbie game for the same reason and pulled out the win for town.

Some of this looks pretty silly. Monk changes his vote, which prompts Empking to change his vote to Monk, causing Monk to vote Empking for falling into his "trap," which Friend goes along with. Whisper then votes Friend for being opportunistic, and then Whiskers votes Whisper for voting trap-setters, and then me just cause.

You can't take much of that seriously. I can't really see Monk's or Empking's actions as scummy. Actually, I can't see them as anything more than silliness. Now, reading through this, Friend doesn't come off too well. Not necessarily the alleged word-twisting, but I don't get a good feeling from him.
