There is nothing in the normal rules against that role, Grey. It's an investigation-type role. It's also quite a weak ability.

Modifiers which are explicitly Normal include:
Even/Odd Night, Non-Consecutive Night, X-Shot, Bulletproof, Compulsive, Macho, Weak, Back-Up (with or without primary role present)

That's EXACTLY the sort of role that the normal games try to get away from. Like, what if Hiraki says "hiphop is scum." Does your lie detector get "False" if Hiiphop is town, true if he's scum? Or does it go off what Hiraki knows? What if I post a list of 5 names and say 1 or more is scum. Do we have five confirmed townies if you get 'false?'

It's a theme game ability, through and through.

Do any of you see Vote stealer on here? I don't.
He obviously has the ability to double vote (proven D2), but why did he not just claim doublevoter?
Furthermore, why didn't scum just kill him Night 2? Wouldn't it make sense for scum to kill someone that would seem confirmed town?

My theory is: Since GreyICE has double voting powers he should be using this ability now, but he's isn't. He only used it once on Maxous for a lynch.

To convince me of being just a doublevoter or "votestealer", I need to see him use this ability again and (when I mean again I mean NOW). Otherwise, I believe GreyICE only has a limited amount of shots on doublevoting. There's no way he's an X-shot doublevoter that seems stupid. The only role that seems fitting for GreyICE is a Jack of All Trades which is indeed a scum role for sure.

I think there's a fuckton more reasons to go after them than to go after chkflip or davidx. I'm not sold on chkflip being town, but davidx is.

I'm telling you. Across all of my games, I've never seen a scumteam wagon a player like that without justification. It just doesn't happen. Least of all, on a loose cannon. Would you expect 60% of a scumteam to wagon, say, Fate? Not if they wanted to make it past day three, they wouldn't.

And which is simpler?

Phoebus decided to go against his natural scum instincts, simply ignoring all the dangers of putting too many scum on a single wagon, just for the heck of it...

To elaborate on a few points above:

I was considering pulling a few things from his ISO to demonstrate it.

Decided it wasn't necessary, because there quite frankly wasn't anything in his ISO which looked like scum. Add in the things which look town, and his overall view looks town.

Edmund, Zdenek, and one other I've concluded was town because I was certain these three were scum, likely within my neutral list.
