Twisted's claim seems like a fake claim.

1. His target didn't recieve his invention. He could have been roleblocked and although I'm not ruling it out, I don't really see scum motivation for roleblocking him. Although, it could have been a town roleblocker.

2. Inventors usually know what their inventions are and what they do. Twisteds claim seems like he doesn't want to go into details about what these inventions are. So he said that he didn't know.

3. An inventor doesn't seem like a role that goes along with the flavor. Most roles have little to do with the flavor of their role, but all other roles follow a similar theme that an inventor doesn't.

All taken, I'm inclining towards scum inventor or liar. But, in case I'm over-applying the law of similar roles, what does everyone think?

On the "changed mind" thing I'm null, because I've changed my mind before, so I don't see that as a scum tell.

Actually, yeah, I think you're massively over-applying the law of similar roles.

On the "changed mind" thing - changing your mind is fine. But the second time spoon changed his mind, he did it for a very unconvincing reason that he can't actually believe. He then really changed his story on how he felt about BB at the time of the hammer, painting so that he was happy with a BB lynch, when at the time he can't have been from what he'd said everywhere else.

Why does it matter that there are three people on both wagons? Missing your point here. The scum votes could be... more or less anywhere. A likely pair is any with at most one of spoon's wagon, say. spoon/Johhog/anyone, for example, is a perfectly sensible scumteam. As is spoon/Zang/anyone, spoon/Peregrine/anyone, and many others.

I explained how his claim affected my alignment read on him. I also explained how BB's claim did not affect my alignment read on him. That is the difference.

Its not a thing you should do because now Lucronis is a free dead power role unless we have a doctor in the setup or the role blocker is town and manages to block correctly.

We have two watchers, two (useless) name cops and a potential town inventor and roleblocker.

I think its likely at this point that the roleblocker (should Twistedspoon's claim be true) is likely to be scum.
