Your plan helps scum way more than it helps town. It's all WIFOM. You are looking for what you *think* scum would have taken and that is weak scum hunting at its best. Plus it will reveal roles that town have to scum so they know who to pick off.

And you're jumping on someone for actually scum hunting. Since when is "claiming" thinking outside of the box? His plan makes life super easy for scum. There is little to no benefit to town. The line you keep beating your drum about "You are looking for what you think scum would have taken..." is exactly what I mean. When we all massclaim it just becomes a big ball of WIFOM (which is also beneficial to scum). I guarantee that if scum perceive that a townie took an ability that is scum-beneficial that scum would jump on that as something scummy, thus the weak scum hunting.

Zdenek is town based on how you address him and summarise his position.

"You" is the collective "you" of the players in this game. It will allow scum-you to jump on people who take scum-oriented roles and it makes town-you jump on people who take scum-oriented roles. Either way it's absolutely weak scum hunting. His "plan" opens the door for this. It feels scum motivated. It very well could be town not looking at all the angles but right now, this is the scummiest thing in 3 pages. I am not going to come in and random vote when I see something scummy. I am sticking with my vote.

By the way, in case I die tonight I had 3 powers.

I had White Mage - used it on Hoopla night 1 (I am also neighborized with Ludi and allowed him to use my claim because he was the weak doctor and we have verified Implosion is town and wanted to keep scum away from him)
I had Doctor A - used it on gandalf night 2
I had Watcher - used it on chamber last night since I figured scum would stay away from implosion.

I am also neighborized with Ellibereth who I think is also scum because she "claims" to have neighborized Hoopla night 1.

I jailkept Zednek last night.

We need to consider the possibility that gandalf claimed an innocent on his scumbuddy. It doesn't make sense to leave 4 clears (me, Ludi, gandalf, and Reck) in favor of Katsuki. We also need to consider that CES is picking off vanillas so that he doesn't have to shoot one of them later. It's better to get this question of gandalf out of the way sooner rather than later. Ludi and I are cleared 100%. If we lynch gandalf and clear him then we will have Reck as a clear 100%. That way tomorrow we have two or three 100% clears if scum want to play this game of kill a random person.

Ellibereth - based on CES saying the QT with Hoopla looked legit.
Zdenek - blocked him last night but other buddy still out there and could have done the kill.
Vifam - claimed bodyguard. When I pointed out that hoopla had claimed that he was like "lol yeah she is scum" and then voted. A little off.

I am now 200% confirmed based on me outting Hoopla and now the CES redirect of my kill, Ludi/Faraday is still like 99% confirmed. There is still 1% of me that says "how the hell did you get lucky enough to get tracked as weak doctor as scum" but I am ignoring that 1% for now.

I reread each iso of the other three and right now I just don't see how Parama can be scum. gandalf's iso wasn't great. Neither was elli's. But I don't want to rush this day. I want EVERYONE in here posting thoughts. Elli, you better start rereading the game. I want a solid post of reads.

I'm always open to tips on my play as long as they are constructive and not "lol you suck". Like this one kinda sucks because I am replaying it over and over in my head and can't figure out where I went wrong. Something was definitely pulling at me about Ludi but I really couldn't rationalize him being scum. The odds of it were just so low with the track.

I have made mistakes in a few recent games that I realize were dumb. Like in Vi's Mafia User Personality, I was town, had a bus driver role, crumbed what I was going to do in the event of my death and then my crumb got COMPLETELY misinterpreted causing a mislynch and an eventual loss. There is other stuff but ongoing games and etc.

I think I am just on a losing streak right now and having a bit of a pity party. I hate letting people down and I feel like I did that here.

Rereading those are depressing. I'd like to read the scum QT. Just to have a rip-it-off-like a bandaid effect and get it over with.

Obviously I as trying to slow it down this last day. Wish CES hadn't redirected in retrospect. I was the one clearing ludi ;(

The Scum QT was depressing to read. Although Ludi over estimated how much I trusted him initially. I liked that he was annoyed by my lies about my powers. Here is a PM I sent Spyrex sometime between my neighborization and when Ludi was tracked.

And btw, I sucked at everything in this game EXCEPT the draft. I owned the draft! I just misused all but one of my powers. >.<

It certainly would. I would have saw Ludi visit chamber, knew he was a liar and lynched him.
You were definitely a possibility for the lynch the last day. I was considering you or Elli.
Who knows what would have happened with Hoopla, but Ludi would not have been confirmed.

@Fate: Point well taken. But scum did try to kill me the night of the redirect which helped me believe Ludi even more. As I said on the last day, I was ignoring that 1% of me that was scared of Ludi/Faraday until we got the "other" scum.

Maruchan, you didn't ruin the game. It wasn't a good start for town and hopefully a lesson has been learned. If you keep being upset about it they are going to keep hounding you. Just let it go.
