I'm not advocating a lynch on these people yet, cause I vote them doesn't mean they deserve to be lynched, they have done or said something that doesn't sit well with me, and all I have is my ability to question people and vote people. This allows me to do 2 things, observe their reactions/ responses and observe other people's reactions/responses.

If a person doesn't defend himself very well (both zde and pine haven't defended themselves well) my vote becomes more serious.

Right now I have a list of 8 of the active posters, I'm keeping an eye on. I don't get town reads often and when I do they tend to be scum(smh)

But this is how I play always and won't change because you or anyone else tells me to.

I'm not saying that post is fluff. I'm saying you seem to think it's fluff, and therefore I'm wondering why you posted it.

I don't mind votes on theam because theys how that people find him scummy, but last game he was very scummy and stupid and turned out to be town so he's one of those players where even if he is scum at the end, it'l be easy for town to tell if he is. There are other options IMO.

What kinds of "scummy" things did he do in the game you're talking about? Did he, for instance, set up a totally unjustified "one of these two is scum" dichotomy, and then freely admit that he would be making no effort whatsoever to figure out which of the two it was, and would instead vote for whichever one proved to be more popular?

I am fully aware that he is the kind of player that frequently gets lynched early on regardless of his alignment. That doesn't mean he can't be scum here. I've seen his town play before, and I've wrongly suspected him before, but nonetheless, I still don't think this is his town play.

What other options do you think I should be following?

At first I thought you were playing like a town would, but now I just see you're being a stubborn anti-town who admits to not being able to catch scum.


And to iam:he rolefished then defended himself about as poorly as any player I've seen defend themselves in a game. He was also prone to bad logic, like the two for one, and it just looked terrible on his part. Not saying he can't be scum, but these bad plays don't necessarily mean he IS scum.

Pretty much: I'm not trying to defend theam if town wants him lynched; by all means thats fine since he doesn't contribute much to town anyways. I just want it to be for a better reason than on the surface scummitude, because he is a pretty poor player, so its easy to pull off his lynch should scum choose to.

Since I've been on MS, I've had 1 town read in like 6 or 7 finished games.

@ sorg, the people voting me haven't really provided any real reason for it, definitely not anything worthy of lynching me. I've done nothing wrong and these votes on me are ridiculous, besides there are only 3 votes on me and I'm willing to go out on a limb and say 1 of the 3 is scum.

I won't calm down until crackhead and pine explain why my cases are wrong.

Serious note: Can someone explain the proposed lynch on DavidParker? Sounds similar to the attitudes I recall about Deity Kabuto.

Lynching DK is always the right thing to do.

No I wasnt agreeing with his PL, which is why I suggested PL'ing him, but my PL comment wasn't even serious, which is why I used a smilie. PL's are only good in certain situations, wanting him lynched for bad play in 1 game, is terrible. Everyone has played badly in games, if you haven't yet than it will happen. I've had good games and bad games myself.

@ThAd: Eh, it isn't a strong case. I don't really see any strong cases yet...I'm starting to think all or most of the scum are amongst the very, very quiet half of the players. It is, however, a pressure vote, seeing if he'll panic and make mistakes that'll give us decent information.

If you're going to pressure vote someone, it sort of defeats the purpose when you tell them that you are pressure voting them.
