I think pine is town. As far as I can tell he doesn't put this much effort in when he's scum.

I used to think this too, but there were a couple of games that threw this tell off.

I'm not relying solely on that. He hasn't struck me as scum. Regardless of meta he has been posting a lot more than I expect scum in his situation would do, and I don't feel like he is panicking even though beck has been going after him pretty hard.

I mind. You don't lynch lurkers on D1, they have a 2/3 (roughly) chance of being Town that just happen to be a bit busy. You go with what you've got on D1, and then if lurking continues into D2, you start to call is a pattern and get serious about pressuring them.

actually I don't even care at this point, my day 1 play isn't stellar but my late game is 10x better, so vig killing me would be fine by me, it would deprive town later in the game. I promise you I will be more useful later, day 1 is about pressuring people who I think is scum and that is what I have done.
