Claiming or softclaiming PRs of any kind on D1 (not counting L-1 "claim or die" moments) is a bad idea in most cases, as it unnecessarily gives scum information and insight into your thought processes. A Townie fakeclaiming and even fakesoftclaiming can force a real PR into counterclaiming for a supposed scum kill, resulting in an otherwise innocent Townie being mislynched. Fakeclaiming vig is especially stupid, as it will very often lead to the REAL vig saying "Aha! That's either scum or the SK setting up a vig fakeclaim. I'll shoot him to find out." And we again have a dead fakeclaimer, with the added benefit of a wasted friendly fire shot.

No. I know several players that softclaim PR as an VT to pull off scumkills. Softclaims should NEVER be cc'd by the real PR, only HARDCLAIMS.

i will go so far as to say Beck reads town to me...

As far as Zdenek is concerned...my previous game with him, pretty much started out D1 with him and me going back and forth about as bad as Beck and Pine...He was very verbal out the gate, and actively scumhunting, and more sure of himself...here he starts out with a PL (looks to be serious to me as he even posted a link), then claims it was a joke when it doesn't fly...

no...if you have a strong read on someone, it might pay off if you can apply just enough added pressure to get them to slip up... if they think you have something on them, they can easily scramble and slip up...although i wouldn't make it a habit, otherwise people will stop taking you seriously...
But i don't think its what you did, it's how you did it...with weak reasoning...that seems odd for you...

I don't like the way FunkyBike has all of about 5 posts...all one-liners..not to mention his lol Vig claim...
Shattered has pretty much been comedy relief with no real input either...not sure how i like that yet, but i would like to hear more from him...

Anyone else look this up? The post seemed to show little evidence of sorgster being a bad player. It had even less evidence of the player being unreadable, which is an important component of any good policy lynch. Failure to help out with scumhunting isn't good enough. Poor voting accuracy isn't good enough. A bad, but transparent player can be ignored when he makes crappy attacks, overruled by a wise town when he votes poor targets, and then lynched or not lynched based on his attempts at play.

As far as Beck's regardless of my alignment tell goes, I think lynching Pine for saying that would be about as good as lynching randomly.

However, I've been reading. I don't like IAAUN (mostly because of Rev's post, and how it tied into his scum-play in another game I played with) and Pine. Pine needs more pressure, he's acting a bit suspicious.

He gives a reason for finding someone scummy, but makes a pressure vote for vague reasons.

Pine is providing meta while complaining about people talking about other games.

Pine's reaction to revenus' vig joke seems forced. as does that post where he complains about the game stalling.

Well obv sky is my main scum read at the moment. Other than that I have a bunch of town reads, and then there's a lot of other people who I basically can't distinguish because they haven't really done anything.

I will say I think the wagon on funkybike is a bit too easy. In terms of both target and how easily it is moving along picking up followers.

I get this weird feeling that everything that has come off looking 'scummy" so far hasn't been perpertrated by scum. I mean some of it is too stupid to say as scum, and some of it has just been misconstrued. I realise that is a little vague, so to point out some examples: pine saying something about not caring if someone else is scum, theam's false dilemma between pine and beck, everything funkybike says etc. I feel like the scum is sitting back and sniping. In any case it's what I'd do as scum.

Just thought I'd mention I'm not quite up to date. I'm on page 21 and have run out of time. Will post again later this evening.
