When she took over as Open List Mod, she really cleaned things up. See this thread in particular, along with the new C9++ setup.
I can't believe Hoopla hasn't even been nominated yet, cuz she really deserves something.

LC survived 5 days as the sole member of his scum-team, and would have won if not for MoI self-hammering (Scum had made MoI a bomb, and if any other town member had hammered, LC only had to make a single successful kill to win). Was great fun to watch, especially when two of his scumbuddies fell victim to a cop+double-lynch.
2ndas the Mod of that game, LC hung out for 5 gamedays after his last buddy was lynched, and definitely fought the good fight through failed kills and an organized town."This is the true face of a man who plays paladin."-

The flavor was funny, it was clever, and unlike most flavor, you actually wanted to read all of it.

Nominate GreyICE for Cunning Manipulator
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 23&t=19225
So, GreyICE managed to lead his scumteam to a victory. In a mylo situation where the setup said there was (at least) one town bulletproof, he claimed bulletproof knowing that he'd be counterclaimed. He did this when a town power role had a cop's guilty on him. And he got counterclaimed by Fate. In the end, he managed to get the cop's claim lynched. Admittedly, the cop's guilty was a backup and the claim there was less than stellar, but I think n terms of actual pure manipulation with posting, GreyICE definitely did it.
Nothing against GreyICE, but he didn't really do any manipulation in that game. He didn't need to, town self destructed quite effectively while scum mostly just stood by and watched.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-

Eh, it was a perfect game against a good playerlist and a borderline insane amount of town power.
He overcame a mylo guilty on him and helped keep town from getting it's head on straight in earlier days.
D1 all 4 players run up were town.
Maybe that game isn't going to win him the award by itself, but it's certainly a solid addition to his body of work.
His distancing with Zang was also particularly well done.-

... Scum have to play pretty well for that to happen, ya know.
D2 you can attribute to tracker-gate (though forcing it through still took some doing and we set it up the night before by preventing the vigshot on Lurc), but D1 and D3 we (especially Grey) did a darn good job.
I'm frankly quite proud of winning against that setup.-

D1's quicklynch of Yos can be attributed to trackergate and my lynch on D3 can partially be attributed to trackergate along with the setup.
But honestly.
I'm not saying it wasn't a great game for scum. I'm just saying that town playing an awful game and scum taking advantage of it isn't scummy-worthy.Last edited by Seraphim on Wed Oct 19, 2011 5:27 am, edited 1 time in total.-

There was a lot of town power, and the setup confirming many roles didn't help, but yeah, we got lucky.
Then again we were up against a cop, 2 trackers, a doctor, an even night vig, a bulletproof, and a universal backup, we needed to get lucky.ShowThat which is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil

If you're going to get techincal, Lurc never claimed because he was wagonned. I took the wagon off him when it was fairly obvious he was town, he claimed to COUNTER Yos.Fate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

Yeah, we would have lynched GreyICe on day 1 if it wasn't for the confusion about how a role worked leading to a incorrect counterclaim. It was really pure luck that saved him; Grey was fairly obviously scum on day 1, although he did improve his play later in the game.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-

Eh, probably not. If he'd understood his role, and claimed properly, it would have been a big point in my favor that I knew that the town tracker could track power roles but had to have a point contest to track the scum kill. There's really no way a scum could have known that, not even a scum tracker since a point-based scum tracker role would presumably work differently then that.
Anyway, the way the mod say there were "at least two info roles" make 3 info roles not especially surprising.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie
