Horror of horrors!
Cogito Ergo Sum
's limp and lifeless body, better known to her family as Xiaohong Feng, has been found hanging from a tree and bearing marks of a savage beating by what cannot be the work of a single individual. Indeed, scared witnesses have reported the Elite Red Guards drinking and shouting obscenities in by the roadside under the faint moonlight. Her family members hide their sorrow and curse, most insincerely and unconvincingly, Xiaohong's "political errors."

No one can afford to publicly mourn the loss of
Cogito Ergo Sum, Feng Famliy Mason
; anyone looking sad, will be the next victim.
Long live Mao!

Well, what kind of interaction do you expect now that everybody knows the day will end in a guilty lynch anyway?

Looking at flavor, it seems as if the Red Guards come in two flavors-Elite and Yunan. We've effectively slowed down the Yunan by killing of their recruiter (at least it seems like they can't kill anymore), so our main goal should be to find Elite Red Guard Recruiter.

I'll also note that the Red Guards seem to have an even/odd thing going on.

With nothing else better to do,

....awww, my woman got killed!! ):

Should I reveal my other mason-mate? That person communicated with us overnight, so I'm pretty sure that unless there's a backup Red Guard Recruiter (a distinct possibility), this other person is still a GG. Maybe I should leave it up to that player to decide..... Although it's possible I'll be next -- they seem to be after the Masons who have been partially responsible for 3 out of 4 scumdeaths. <.<

Anyway, I'd like to see a Y lynch for the afore-mentioned reasons. My position on him hasn't changed. I need to re-read to see what else I can glean from the game. This has been probably the most bandwagon-heavy game I've played here, so finding scum clues will take a lot of searching....

Like I mentioned in my previous post, the flavor suggests that the Red Guard comes in two flavors; Elite and Yunan. Given Y's actions on the SOS bandwagon, he's probably Elite (if he's scum).

Hey Twomz, what's the flavor behind your role? Are you a farmer, or a student, or a trash collector, etc. etc. etc.?

Wtf. I'm pretty sure Yunan is Vietnam in Chinese.

We might actually have two killing groups, one who kills on even nights, one on odd nights (similar setup in French Mafia).

I'm still here, and actually I can sort of agree with Thok and MMoD here. I think it is very probable that the two different type of Red Guards work on alternate nights. It would explain a lot.

1) I was just saying that I feel like i'm not really helping the town that much... i suppose "not having an ability" would have been better than saying vanilla... but i wasn't "reminding" everyone that i was vanilla, only voicing my frustration.

2) Erm, i'm a chinses peasant... did you skip all of day 1's reading? (No, there is no mention of a job in my role, i'm assuming i'm some sort of farmer or factory worker, probably extremely poor).

That's all I wanted to hear.

Anyway, I'd be okay with a Y lynch.
I'm still unsure about a Shamrock lynch -- wasn't he the other person who confirmed Peasantness with Twomz and thedocisalive?

I don't know... It looks to me like Twomz is saying "I'm a vanilla town. Nothing to see here, move along". Of course he's saying it in a not so suspicious way, but that's the feeling I'm getting from it.

I just didn't think SOS was scum. I guess my instincts were wrong.

And yes, I did claim Chinese Peasant back then, but my role has changed (slightly). That's all I'll say for now, though.
