On night 2, I was targetted for recruitment by one of the Red Guard groups. I was given the option of accepting or declining. I declined, but I was called a fool and forced to join anyway.

However, apparently declining affected what happened as a result.
I am a Red Guard, but I still win with the town. No, I do not know who the other Red Guards are (obviously, I did not know SOS was a Red Guard), and I do not know for sure whether I am a Yunan or Elite.

However, thinking about this with the new information we have now...

If we assume that the Yunan guards kill on odd nights and recruit on even nights, and vice versa for the Elites, that would mean I was recruited by the Yunans and SOS was my recruiter. This is, of course, all hypothetical as we don't know for sure that that's the case (and it also doesn't account for the N1 kill, which isn't specified as being done by Yunans or Elites).

By the way, there's a special mechanic for how the Red Guards work. Every night, I submit someone I want to see die (and I assume all the other Red Guards do this as well). The leader of the Red Guard gets to choose between these submissions for a kill. I was asked for a submission by the mod on night 3, but I didn't send one. I was not, however, asked for a submission on night 4, which would seem to conform with our theory on Yunans recruiting on evens/killing on odds.

I believe there may be another player in the same situation as me (ie. declined a recruit from a Red Guard) due to something he/she said, but I won't call them out on it at this time.

Perhaps he doesn't want to give the scum information, seeing how he knows very little about what the scum actually know themselves. I beleive Shamrock, by the way.

BTW, I'm mulling over whether I believe Shamrock or not. His claim doesn't exactly fly in the face of everything CES and I had talked about, but I (naturally) find myself having a difficult time believing a guy who claims that he was sorta recruited, but declined and is a Red Guard that wins with the town. I'm really torn about this claim; I think we should let Sham slide for now, but he's probably not going to survive until the end of the game, one way or another.

I think shamrock would make a nice lynch, We have hit 4/4 so far, 2 of which were sks I think we can aford the risk of missing a lynch when the person practically claimed to be mafia, but not. (Disclaimer: This opinion wasn't made with consideration of my investigation result, whatever it may be)

The obvious solution is to ask Shamrock to only submit his own name (assumming he can do that).

That said, I'd rather hunt the Elite Guard recruiter rather than a Red Guard recruit today-Y's more likely to be such a recruiter.

Well, I just didn't send a choice night 3 when I was asked to and the mod didn't seem to object to my not sending one.

I think this is because the other Red Guard don't know (or didn't know, until now) that I am in fact pro-town, so I was given the ability in order to fit in with them.

I don't see how we haven't lost yet if it's recruit+kill every night. That's like a double kill everynight, if there is no crossfire/recruit. That's a bit overpowered against the townies.

If you've been recruited by SOS then obv you should be Yunan considering that HE is Yunan. I'm not sure what to think about the rest of his claim though. I'm more on the disbelief side. It was very black+white back then. If someone refused, they'd be beat senseless, or killed.

FOS: Shamrock for now. What's the Y wagon? I only remember him trying to point at Twomz, who was cleared for some reason.

That's the thing. I DON'T know whether I was recruited by SOS or not.

Maybe I didn't make the flavor clear, I think it's more that I wanted to refuse but I was forced to join up anyway, but I'm still loyal to the town even though I was pressured into joining the Red Guard so I still win with the town.

Based on which night you were recruited on, you should be able to figure out who recruited you (mafia-wise, not person) if we go with the kill/recruit theory.

Yeah...I think I'm pretty happy with my vote on shamrock. I thought he was suspicious based on his actions yesterday, and now that he's claiming he was semi-recruited by the bad guys, I see no reason to not lynch him.

One thought....if we do lynch him, I wonder will we even know if he was telling the truth or not afterwards, or if he'll just show up as a red guard?
