@OP: I am not DonJosh
Izak, with all due respect, absolutely no way nu-uh nope.
Firstly, the game has had many issues throughout. Some you've seen, some you haven't, but rest assured this game is a long way from perfect.
Agreed. The game, as with many Wide Open Sandboxes, is inherently buggy. That doesn't decrease the modding ability or capability that you display and have displayed. Also, the scummies rules don't stipulate that the game must be "perfect". They simply award appreciation to deserving mods and games, of which you and P:MS are.
Second, scummies require a game to be finished within the year. There is a very real chance Planet MafiaScum will not be over in time anyway.
Hmm. That may however be a small problem, but there may well be a way around that. Could you or someone please link the rules thread?
Thirdly, as I explained in the thread, my modding is likely to go downhill over the next few weeks. So ultimately, if I were to win one or both of these scummies, I would feel like I didn't really deserve them. I won't stop you nominating me, but that's my view.
I think a couple of weeks of not-
as
-great modding is perfectly justified. As Ani pointed out, you are, single handedly, the biggest game on MM. The ISO list reads like a Who's Who of Mishmash.
Provided nothing goes very badly wrong, I fully intend to run Planet MafiaScum again, with overhauled mechanics and more structure behind the scenes. Perhaps that will be worthy of a scummie. We'll see.
Nothing stopping you from getting two awards.
Oh, and with all that said,
nth for P:MS as Best MM Game
