Can I steal a newb. from the list to replace Big reichmeister in 216?
When I hear any man talk of an unalterable law, the only effect it produces upon me is to convince me that he is an unalterable fool.

Each newbie game has 4 new players and 3 experienced players (Unless there's a real shortage of the experienced, in which case I make a 5/2 split). You're 8th on the list of new players, so you'll be in the game after next to start, once enough experienced players show up for the next two games. Looks like at the moment games are starting every 2-4 days on average, so I'd guess a week tops, probably much shorter.

I've played elsewhere but I'd like to start with a newbie game here anyways, to get acquainted with how games work here, in case they're very different.

/in. I don't know if you count me as an IC, do the "completed games" need to be game over or it is sufficient that I'm dead in them? I'll leave it to you to decide.

I've played: Newbie 177, finished; Mini 282, finished; Literary Mafia, uhm, finished but don't know if you count that; Survivor Mafia, killed N2, ongoing; Mini 285, replaced Fayul D1, lynched D3, ongoing; Lights out, lynced D2, ongoing.
Mafia is not about who is right, mafia is about who is left.

Yes; the moderator of the game will send you a PM with your role, which means that the game is ready to begin and a thread has been posted in the Road to Rome forum.

That's fine.
fishfleas wrote: I'm looking to get into the Conquer Club game....
I'm not quite sure which game you're referring to. This thread is for signing up for newbie games, which generally don't have any particular theme except for flavor decided on the spot, and there doesn't seem to be any sign of a mafia game with that name starting up somewhere else on the site. For the meantime, I've put you down for a newbie game.

Thanks, Norinel, for your help.

One more thing. I've read rules and so on.

There's one thing I don't understand. Is day and night real time or does a game mod say when baddies can start communicating? And if it's real time then what time zone it is?

Generally I steal one once I've seen that Norinel has visited the list recently and isn't about to start a game with them in it. Make sure you post their name so Noricam can take them off the waiting list...
serinah80 wrote:There's one thing I don't understand. Is day and night real time or does a game mod say when baddies can start communicating?
Day and Night take as long as needed/moderator allows for a lynch/night actions to be completed. Generally that means a week to two weeks of "real-time" for Days (but sometimes longer), and 48-72 hours for scum to talk at night. Those apply to newbie games, of course; bigger games generally take longer for Day, though Nights are fairly uniform across the entire site...
Retired as of October 2014.
