Most people have already said my thoughts about DGB, like ziliu said, it's generally not that useful to lynch somebody who wants to be lynched, since if DGB isn't lying we may lose the ability to lynch somebody who is actually scum.

DGB-do you have a preference for being lynched or vigged? (There's probably a vig in this game).

I'm not exactly sure what to think of DGB right now. My current leaning is that she might be a protown role with some sort of hideous disadvantage (I'm thinking of roles as bad as the Consiligere from Choose Somebody Else's Role or the Uncharismatic Cult Recruiter from Worst Role Ever). I'm not sure I'm happy with her response to my lynch/vig question.

I also feel we've been focusing too much on interactions with 1 player (and I realize that I've only posted about DGB); surely there are other things to discuss on day 1?

I was translating Pariah's posts. I mistranslated his first post as

When it should have been "Shorthand for draw attention to", plus a vote for Shamrock at the end.

His second post gave me a correction-that's why he said "Just revoting".

Pr at least that's my interpretation of what he's trying to say. I could be wrong.

It seems to me that the DGB and PBuG issues are somewhat similar. I'm not sure either is the play today (although CD's info could change that).

Scum just seems like a distraction: has he actually said anything useful?

I'm sort of half tempted to just bandwagon somebody randomly and see what happens.

Primate-any idea why you can't be lynched today?

I'm not sure what to think of the masterchief thing. It's strikes me as possible that the mysterious voices we've been hearing in the night scenes (pronouncing people guilty or innocent) could be part of the Cassandra role (in which case he'd be some sort of cop, although that makes me wonder what the Homer thing is).

On the flip side, I'm not convinced that Vismaior would give somebody who forcefully added himself to the game a role that would help a scum group. Although that would be a bastardly thing to do.

I can't believe TS is a survivor; he/she (it?) would have just claimed that. I'd claim that MC's behavior in thread is inconsistent with having an "I won" role, but I'm not sure what Masterchief would do with such a role.

Glork, PBuG and Toaster Struedel seem to have similar cases against them (weirdish roles, plus some investigations that suggest PBuG being town (the voice in the night scenes) and Streudel being scum (the voice in the night scenes + Romanus)). Yet you seem certain that PBuG is scummy and TS is town.

See the inconsistancy?

I need to do a full reread. I read the first couple of pages, and caught something that makes me think bertrand targeted ubertimmy night 1 (and hence ubertimmy is a wolf), but that depends somewhat on night scene info, which has been horribly unreliable.

I actually see what PBug is saying-Romanus buddied up to Glork to some extent (protecting Glork against dahen's inquiries by calling them "fishing", and general chatty tone when talking to Glork).

There's some evidence that points to PBuG being legit as a lyncherish IMHO, and I can't see him as a wolf (Glork's consistent attacks on PBug don't feel like bussing to me). I guess he could be mafia (MOS was semidefending him day 2), but I don't see the motivation for a PBug wagon at this time.

It's not quite nothing. We know that there were three kills night 1, and one of our sources of kills (CDB's vigs) didn't go through (CDB targetted DGB, who wasn't killed).

I'm trying to decide if (Bertrand, a reverse hider) died because he targetted some sort of scum, and which person he targetted. The night scene (pushing somebody in a well) combined with certain joking (the whole ubertimmy in a well thing) suggests that ubertimmy was bertrand's target.

The general argument against Romanus seems to suggest that people think he's a wolf. If he is a wolf, he's either a werewolf traitor (in which we don't care), or there are 4 normal wolves in the setup, and there needs to be 4 mafia to compensate (and Fritz doesn't really count). If we have three Mafia left, we're probably in lynch or lose and lynching a werewolf likely loses.
