I'm pretty sure you guys aren't supposed to be posting.
Would kind of kill the point of my role.
It's nice to actually TALK.
The whole vote/unvote thing was "DRAWN ATTENTION TO." I did it to MasterChief because he was still posting while not in game, and to Glork to be like "My posting restriction is worse than yours. :P." It also seems like a very ODD posting restriction to me, even for this game.
PBuG, you said you were SURE you were sane, if I remember correctly? I'd love to hear you explain this tomorrow, because as of tomorrow without a very good explanation you'll be my vote.
Again, I'm with the camp that wants to vig DrippingGoofball instead of lynching her.
That's it for now.Tales of Monkey Island - made by the guys who brought back Sam and Max!

To clarify myself from before...
I find Glork's restriction odd because it's just...very out of place. It seems more "pain in the ass" instead of bastard. It's almost unnoticable as well. His posts could just be short and oddly formatted...he didn't HAVE to claim right away like that just to whine his restriction sucked.
Glork wrote:I have to say, I have the dumbest posting restriction ever.
243 letters & numbers per post, 62 words and stand alone numbers per post, and12 punctuation marks per post. It's really stupid.
Anyway, I am going to go read the game now. I shall be back with one or two or even three things to say. Time to go read stuff!
I don't recall equal signs being puncuation marks, but I could be wrong.Rhox, Who Replaced Glork wrote:We shouldn' 1t lynch DGB, 2and anyone who is rushing to do so only looks more suspicious to me. 3
Yes, 4his role may be useless, 5but he' 6s a warm body for the town. 7And the town needs all the warm bodies it can get if we want to win the game. 8
Talking= 9?information10.Information is good11.Rushing the lynch is a terrible idea12.
This is going to be theweirdest question ever.
But mod, clarification, if I am allowed to ask: According to the game, is an equal sign a punctuation mark?Tales of Monkey Island - made by the guys who brought back Sam and Max!

You know, I scanned the whole thread, and Rhox only made that one post, making that posting restriction pretty easy to fake and hard to disprove based on past posting patterns. It is so amazingly completely random. Why those numbers? Why that way? It seems false.
It just does not sit comfortably with me.Tales of Monkey Island - made by the guys who brought back Sam and Max!

Bertrand was calmly staring out through the tiny opening, gazing up looking for the twinkling stars that have guided him on so many lone and not-so-lone nights before. But something was wrong. Tonight, the stars were gone. Stolen. Brutally denied their unalienable right to shine through the magic night.
"Light pollution. How cruel!", bertrand muttered, whilest repeatedly banging his head against the well wall. He always did that, nobody knew why. "They took away from me the only pleasure I had in life!", he cried.
But he was wrong. There was one more pleasure he had in life. Shoving people into wells. Well, technically, he was right, since he would soon lose that pleasure to. The cold body next to him in the bottom of the dry well began moving and revealing its giant claws. And before bertrand could react, he found himself torn in shreds.
"It's amazing, how I can be in so many pieces, and still reflect over how amazing it is that I can be in so many pieces, and still reflect over how amazing it is that I can be in so many pieces, and still .." was the last thought running through bertrand's head. Too bad he got stuck in the infinite recursion there, otherwise he might have been able to call for help or something. Ah well, that's life.
bertrand was a reverse hider, who could push people down into the wells, thereby preventing any night action by or on them.

Fritzler was panicking. "These scum are gonna kill me! Help!" he thought. To his surprise, a calm, but penetrating voice from abovereplied.
"Relax, mate, they don't know who you are! Just make sure you to lynch them tomorrow! Well actually, you don't really have the choice."
But Fritzler wasn't listening. "No, no! I will die! Help me! Anybody!".
The voice instantly turned angry.
"Oh I see you've misused the only power I gave you. Ah well, if you think you'll die, so be it."
A loud explosion was heard, and when fog cleared there was nothing left of the forest. Nor of Fritzler, for that matter.
"Next time learn to read my instructions!", and with those words, the voice steadily faded out.
Fritzler was a mafia traitor, who knew who the mafia were, but who had a pro-town alignment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pariah was strolling around in the silent night. Well, it was silent until Pariah got there. Now it was more like a Shakespearian soliloquy, a constant chatter of nonsense. You all wonder why Pariah was talking like that, when nobody was listening anyway, since everybody was fast asleep.
But Pariah knew better. "The brightest and most accomplished people on earth never sleep" was his motto.
And surely there were people who weren't sleeping on this beatiful night. One of them became increasingly annoyed by Pariah's constant chatter, and decided to put him to silence for good.
Pariah never noticed anything, the sound of the bullet firing drowned in his stream of complete nonsense. Soon he was lying down on the ground, red, warm blood flowing from his head, down along his cheeks, through the grass and into the small river nearby. His mouth was formed like it was trying to utter one last word, but nobody knew what that last word was. It probably wasn't important anyway.
Pariah was a nightwatchman, who could not talk at day but only at night. Since he was awake strolling around, he could see all role actions made during the night.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As day dawned, and you all began to gather at the town square, suddenly, a deep voice from above told you:
"KaleiÐoscøpe is innocent", and promtly faded away before you could ask how one could know that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bertrand, reverse hider was torn to shreds!
Pariah, the nightwatchman was shot!
Fritzler, the mafia traitor is exploded!

If this is true, why the hell didn't he just tell us who all the mafia were? I have a suspicion that the bastard told him he won with the mafia.VisMaior wrote:Fritzler was a mafia traitor, who knew who the mafia were, but who had a pro-town alignment.
Right, to paraphrase what I... er... said during the night (Sorry Vis! I saw other people doing it and gave in to peer pressure...), I am now even more of the opinion that PBuG gets random results all the time. Either that, or he's scum, trying to get away with claiming cop in this game and making shit up, because he knows there are likely to be multiple incorrect cops.
And until I have a reason not to, I'm going tovote PBuG.When I grow up, I want to be a fritzler.

To answer PK's question: I came out with the PR 'cause I felt that making short, awkward posts w/o mentioning it would be much worse. I can't make up for the fact that Rhox made one post, nor can I do anything about the numbers. I feel OK saying that I've got a role ability. Following the PR grants me that ability.-

As far as I know, I can double post. It seems like there is a Mafia, Werewolf group, and some kind of SK. Regarding the lynch yesterday, it is obvious that either we have wrong information, or he is lying. I don't want to judge him yet. It is also possible that Mariyta was a reverse miller, so he may be legitimate.-

I don’t think that we should lynch DGB YET. She likely wants to be killed for a reason; she could be Jester or Kamikaze. DGB may not have lost yet, but lynching her could be bad. Remember she supposedly wants the Mafia to hit her. Something’s up, but we can’t know what. Let us wait for a reply to CDB before acting.-
