Just because he "knows" that he isn't scum, I'm still not quite buying it. The logic with regards to why he had to reveal the message or show that he was scummy still applies. In fact, something about his post just makes my scumdar go off.

I seriously don't think Der Hammer is scum. When he got my message, I'm sure he realized that it was not intended for him, since I discussed his scumminess and spoke about him in the third person. So why come forward? If he stays quiet, then despite two attempts to prove myself, I wasn't able to come up with the goods, and I'd be quickly lynched. Instead, he pretty much confirms me as innocent. I don't think scum would make such a poor play.

Hmm. That does drop the odds a bit of der hammer being scum.

Still, the only people who are not at least mostly confirmed at this point are vismajor, der hammer, me, and Scalebane. (Scalebane's role is confirmed, but it might be a BG role. The same is true of Aud, but he's very unlikely to be scum based on the way his role has played out, IMHO).

There are probably 2 scum left, and we have 3 lynches left. If I need to, I will claim, and when I do that should rule me out as possible scum which should ensure a town win (3 possible scum, 3 lynches left= town win). I'd rather wait until tommorow to claim, but if I have to claim today, I will, and the town should win unless something unexpected goes wrong (or unless people lynch me without giving me a chance to claim).

I guess I didn't quite realize that der hammer would've known that the message wasn't for him by the content of the message you sent him, Audace. Regardless, the fact still stands that Der Hammer hasn't really done a whole lot to clear his name. I guess simply because a smart player would've realized that he could've not revealed that he got the message, I can't honestly say that I feel that really confirms a whole lot of innocence. So I guess we need to force VisMaior or Der Hammer to a claim? (It's been awhile, not quite sure how the best way to proceed is now.)

I'll make this post more interesting by providing some more evidence for my own innocence:

My role, in urban legends flavor terms, is the Pop Rocks guy. I can somehow hypnotize people to randomize their nightchoice. I accidently showed up at the convention and thus actually still believe in urban legends. Because of this, I always carry a bottle of water around with me so that I don't accidentally drink soda.

I'm guessing that something special would've happened if the Soda Guy (dead mafia) had targeted me for a nightkill.

I am an unlynchable townie. It was also kind of hinted by the mod that I may (or may not) start getting some kind of power after being lynched; it didn't happen last night so I'm not sure. I will not nameclaim at this time because of the (small) chance that I'll be able to counter.

Scalebane's redirection of audacesiuvat makes absolutely no sense to me. How is that a protown move when we're already about ready to lynch him?

Bluesoul, as I already tried to explain, I redirected Audaces's nightchoice so that I would have verifiable proof of my role. Considering his somewhat not powerful ability, redirecting his ability would provide me with some degree of proof that my role does what I claim it does. As to providing you with proof that I'm not scum, I don't really have a whole lot. Why, if I was scum, would I not want to prove my role? I wasn't trying to get Audec lynched. I'm trying to cover my own back. and that makes sense, regardles sof what side I'm on. At the very least, my redirection of Audaces's night choice is little more than ambiguous.

However, I feel the information I did provide earlier should provide some degree of additional evidence as towards my innocence.

Fine, twice in the game I can steal someones vote. This makes their vote worthless and mine worth double. On the first day I used it on Broomhead. This is why he was in red on the vote count when others were on the same amount of votes.
