I am somewhat baffled that DGB didn't know she wasn't at home last night.

Yeah, I find it somehow baffling when scum don't blatantly admit to being mafia as well. It really would make the game so much easier if no-one ever lied.

Why is everyone believing DBG?

@PBuG: Meh, I can believe someone who was forced to falseclaim cop on day one. Obviously the fact you got a townie lynched and the fact you weren't nightkilled means we should be paying a fair bit of attention to you, but I'm not as suspicious as I would be in a normal game.

The CD/DG case is interesting. I would like to see how it plays out later. CD, it doesn't sound like you're going to get much from DG because she is sticking with her claim that she's already 'lost' and can't win, so I'm wondering, are you still trying to find out more from her before sharing your information? Are you eventually going to share the information?

I'm reluctant to share the rest of my information before we know what DGB's special scumtell is, as if she was scum she could use it to fake-claim that ability. Unfortunately the only way for us to find that out it seems is for DGB to die. Not sure I want that to happen yet because I'm leaning towards believing her for now. I have a suspicion of what her extra clause might be that makes sense with my evidence - however, my evidence could also be interpreted as flat-out confirming her as scum. Before I can be sure about which it is I need to know what her extra ability is.

It seems to me that the DGB and PBuG issues are somewhat similar. I'm not sure either is the play today (although CD's info could change that).

OK - I am itching to answer your post, CD, because I think I've figured out how the scumtell ties in with everything. I am pretty excited about it. It's very cute. Be patient. You WILL find out, I don't know when, but you will find out.

But be careful. As I am reading your posts where you are "thinking out loud" trying to figure things out, I can't help but think that they might be helpful in giving the scum some ideas. Maybe. Be careful.

I know it's not advice generally popular with townie culture, but the less said about me, the better.

Last night, my role changed because my "win condition" changed. Yesterday I was a neutral role. Now I am a townie. Can you please try and understand, yesterday I had a completely different motive. How I achieved that motive was claiming cop and saying I had results on my target being scum. Either you can believe me or you can't, but I hope you do. Really, this game makes my head hurt.

I've see roles where someone is like a lynch doctor and can prevent anyone from getting votes the next day. Maybe one of these is at work
