Hm. I have seen it both ways. Once I had the nioghtchoice to restrict myself, and when the randomizer struck, someone else got the restriction.

FINAL VOTECOUNT

Scalebane--4(audacesiuvat, bluesoul, Der Hammer, armlx)

Der Hammer--2(Yosarian2, Scalebane)

That's the lynch.

The remaining Mithbusters circle around Scalebane, who is munching pop rocks, trying to appear nonchalant. As the circle tightens, Scalebane takes a final swig of his bottled water and prepares to defend himself. Then he gags.

All eyes land on the bottle of Coco-Cola in his hand. Even as Scalebane stares down in shock(whilst simultaneously trying to hack the coke from his throat), he knows it is too late. When his throat is cleared, he looks up at the surprised group around him.

"Whoops. Wrong bottle."

There's a faint rumbling, almost as if it's in the distance. Wait, no. Actually, it sounds like it's coming from Scalebane's stomach...and it is.

Thousands of miniature pops are heard as the rocks begin igniting in what would soon be a nuclear chain-reaction. It's much like opening a can of coke and having all the carbon escape with a hiss. Only
Scale
is experiencing it on a much larger
scale
(ha ha).

Everyone dives for cover and remains beneath tables, chairs, etc. until the explosions died away. As it turns out, Scalebane's body wasn't completely destroyed. Mostly just his stomach.

A yo-yo and his wallet are found in his pockets. It is soon deducted that Scale was a hypnotist, of sorts. And another thing--he arrived at the Mithbuster meetings purely by accident. He had thought it was a television show convention. Nobody could figure out where that misunderstanding came from. Nor could they figure out how it was relevant information.

Scalebane--Pop Rocks Guy(pro-town) is dead. It's now Night 5. Get your choices in over the next three or four days.

Doctor Herman Minchetzel trudged into his kitchen. Ellen had already done the coffee and was now watching the news in another room. Herman was depressed. Today he would have to call his friend Audacesiuvat and give him the bad news. It was always tough to inform the cancer-infected for the first time. But it would be extra difficult to tell Audaces, whom he had known for years. It was going to be a bad day. He knew it already.

Just as he raised the mug to his lips, he heard his wife yell something from the other room:

"Honey! You'll never believe what just happened at the Exxon on Main Street!"

Audacesiuvat--Cell Phone Guy(pro-town) has been blown up.

It's now Day 5. Start voting and stuff like that. With half gone, it's four to lynch.

Ok, that basically locks it up. I think Der Hammer and Vismajor are the scum.

Would you guys like me to claim today, in order to eliminate me as a suspect in your mind?

No need. I received a one-shot Cop ability last night. Der Hammer's one of the scum.

Moving right along then,
Vote Der Hammer

O RLY? a one shot cop ability out of thin air? I highly doubt that.

Of course you do, vismaior, as i'm pretty sure you're the other scum. :D

Still, I would like to hear the flavor behind this sudden one-shot-cop thing.

I am certainly NOT scum. I have just had my ability proven. Does it seem like a mafia ability? Surely it would be too powerfull. We are probably in a lynch or lose that is why he is coming out of the woodwork now.

Sure. I'm Bill Gates. Legend has it that I give out money and fabulous prizes for people forwarding my chain letters. Last night I got to choose one of several items; I chose a gift certificate for The Sharper Image, which resulted in a one-shot cop inspection.

I can only speculate on what the Gift Card for Victoria's Secret would've done.

It was in my original PM that I would be immune to lynches, but after one was attempted on me I would unlock the second half of my role. I won't get another one-shot ability until the night after this next one.

Eight alive, five to lynch.

Sorry for the mistake earlier. The red vote is the person who will be lynched at deadline. It's simply the person with the most votes. Thanks for assistance, all.
Look at this....

5 to lynch and yet Scalebane only has 4 votes at time of death. Do a bit more research Armlx next time.

Bluesoul, do you not think your role is extremly powerful if you are indeed an unkillable cop? I think you are paranoid at least.

Interesting. So Der hammer is probably actually a vote manipulater, then.

So, the question I'm trying to figure out now is, which role seems more unlikely to be a scum role...bluesoul the unlynchable, or der hammer the vote manipulater?

Hmm...I'm not sure. I'm tempted to just think that whichever one of the two of them is scum, vismajor must be his partner and therefore should be the lynch today, but I'm going to think about this before I place any votes today.

Actually, this just hit me.
If
Der Hammer is a double voter, there are 3 scenarios.

1.) The game should already be over with a scum win, since they would control three votes.
2.) He is a double-voting SK, which isn't too unbelievable since I got that exact role on WIFOM a few games back.
3.) There is something wrong with my cop inspection.

It seems obvious to me that blue is lying. If he's not, then that role is broken in half. Der Hammer as vote manipulator would also be way too powerful scum. Now, the part that confuses me is the lynch immunity. I would assume it's one-shot. I've felt that blue was scum this whole game, and I've had trouble pinning anything down. This miraculous one-shot cop that popped into play is, frankly, ridiculous. I mean, if this doesn't cry scum, I'm not really sure what will. Also, it would appear that VisMaior is his scumbuddy, so I'm willing to proceed in whichever order we decide would be best.

More powerful than a lynch-immune scum? If I were lynch-immune scum, the town couldn't win. Think about it. You've mindlessly shouted that I'm scum this entire game, and frankly I'm sick of it. Even being cleared, you should never be as stupidly, mindbogglingly aggressive as you've been this game.

Im not a double Voter anymore. I got 2 shots at stealing someones vote. Their vote would be worthless for the day and mine would be worth two. on the first day I nicked Broomheads and yesterday I stole Yosarians.

The mod has already confirmed to me and in the thread that whoever has the most votes will be in red. Notice in the vote count I quoted that only Scalebane is in red not me as I had 2 votes at the time compared to his 4 despite it saying 3 each.

Bluesoul, I suspect one of options 3&4 is correct. Your investigation is wrong or you yourself are scum. I think that if there are two scum left then we are in a virtual lynch or lose situation and you are just trying to push through my lynch.

I have no reason to doubt my inspection after that clarification. That would be quite good, as scum roles go.

Except that dosn't make any sense. If he really was a scum with a 2 shot vote manipulation role, he clearly would have saved at least 1 of them for a lynch or lose situation where it could win the game for the scum. So either he's a good guy with that role, or he's lying scum and could still manipulate the vote today if he watned to.
