So I am re-reading and posting my thoughts as they come
First random voting. Not much to say.
Then it's the DGB claim. Fortify and CD hooks on in a little suspect way.
I get a good vibe from marc.six from his first post. Don't ask me why.
I am also getting good vibes from Primate in this game.
CD is quick to withdraw his vote from DGB when arimnaes says so, even though it doesn't matters much after two unvotes. Don't like him. CES is a little suspect too.
Rhox seems like a standard pointing-out-the-obvious mafia tactics.
Shamrock drives the game forward in a townie fashon.
Although
Care to elaborate on that, now that she's gone?Shamrock wrote:Something DG just said clicked with me and matches up with a part of my role, I'm inclined to believe him for the moment.
Ok, this is my vibes from the first 5 pages. I'm too sleepy to continue now - I'll post more tomorrow.
Summary:
good vibes:
Masterchief
marc.six
Primate
Shamrock
bad vibes:
CD
CES

This game has died a little bit since I tried to start an opposing bandwagon against such a strong wagon, and for that I apologise.
As my behaviour today will show, I'm not exactly ecstatic about getting rid of Coron in this fashion. But on the flipside, we do need to get rid of him, and with that in mind,Unvote Vote Coron.
Lynch him now, lynch him later, heistoday's lynch now, and as majority is needed at deadline, I would prefer not to have to do a posting marathon at the end of day to avoid a no lynch.
Let's git the proverbial done, eh?-

Machiavellian-Maffia was wondering around the group thinking who to check up on when like so many other he hears a noise. after strolling over to check it out he hears a roar and then it is too late. he was clawed to death
Machiavellian-Mafia was a cop
in all the confusion Primate had been shot which surprised everyone including himself even though he was the one who pulled the trigger
Primate was Cassandra, but where is Homer
Al_kohaluec was found shot in the head with Machiavellians mafias blood stains still on his claws but coulndnt escape the dreaded silver bullt
Al_kohaluec was a werewolf and a mason
A big note is found on the floor stating that Primate cant be lynched today, mainly because he is dead dead dead dead
an even bigger voice (perhaps from beyond the grave) tells you "never trust a werewolf and beware the Masterchief for he is guilty"
you may begin

Could anyone explain the cassandra role? It's not in the Wiki.
Does Homer refer to the Author of Helen of Troy where Cassandra was the princess?
It seems that we had a werewolf but no earlier clawings. It also seems that he was the only werewolf from the wording of the night scene.
And do you, Masterchief, have any defense?-

That would make more sense than Homer Simpson at least.dahen wrote:Could anyone explain the cassandra role? It's not in the Wiki.

Coron was innocent so either the Cop Commish was insane or the Mod is still being bastardly, although a truely bastardly thing to do would be to claim that a mafia member was guilty but none of us would believe it. Its all bollocks as anything could be seen as bastardly to different people. You used to be alright

Homer did not write Helen of Troy, he wrote the Iliad and the Odyssey. This is from Mythography.com:
Cassandra is mentioned briefly in the Iliad of Homer (which, incidentally, is one of our oldest and most respected sources for information about the characters of Greek myth). Indeed, in the Iliad, we learn that Cassandra was the child of King Priam of Troy, and she was considered to be Priam's most beautiful daughter (Homer, Iliad, Book XIII, 365). However, no mention of Cassandra's notorious prophetic power is made in this Homeric epic.

I killed al_kohaulec. I'm just lucky I hit scum - I was making sure that I could kill, having not done so already, and he hadn't posted for a few days at the time of the beginning of the night. Just to make that clear.
I'm reluctant to vote Masterchief seeing as we just lynched an innocent Coron over what the mod told us in the night scene.#greenshirtthursdays-

I agree with you about Coron. That was a bad move. Obviously these voices are one of two things:
1) The Mod lying to us
2) Controlled by a playerGood Luck Everyone-

I'm not sure what to think of the masterchief thing. It's strikes me as possible that the mysterious voices we've been hearing in the night scenes (pronouncing people guilty or innocent) could be part of the Cassandra role (in which case he'd be some sort of cop, although that makes me wonder what the Homer thing is).
On the flip side, I'm not convinced that Vismaior would give somebody who forcefully added himself to the game a role that would help a scum group. Although that would be a bastardly thing to do.I replaced into Chess Mafia for 6 months, and all I got was a win and this lousy sig.-

If we're supposing that Cassandra had some kind of "prophet" role, how was she able to shoot herself?
In other news, I'm moving back to college this weekend. I ought to be able to provide the kind of reread and post that this game deserves by Tuesday.Fools. I'm a townie. You're wasting a lynch. -Mariyta, Bastard Mod Mafia
