Oh, if they're all in the same room, then running sounds fine. But I don't think we're getting the baretta back at this point...

Perform a tactical retreat which mimics that of running away, but so it seems less cowardly. And while running, also be on the lookout for the engine room.

Turn 87 Resolution


jmj3000: 1
Escape.

izakthegoomba: 3
run awaaaaaaaaaaay.

AcRv: 6
Perform a tactical retreat which mimics that of running away, but so it seems less cowardly. And while running, also be on the lookout for the engine room.


The trio of survivors turns to flee. jmj3000 soon trips on somebody's foot and falls to the ground. The alien troopers move up and pin him down, guns pointed at his head. They chitter among themselves, apparently deciding what to do with the prisoner who apparently came back to life.

With the aliens distracted by jmj3000, izakthegoomba and AcRv manage to make it down the hallway and turn the corner. izakthegoomba sprints ahead and finds himself alone at the end of a hallway. The only door is locked.

Meanwhile, AcRv searches the new engine-looking room whose open doorway he just entered. A maze of pipes lines the walls, and several large containers seem to descend for several stories below. Behind him, the door suddenly swings shut and locks firmly, blocking out the only light source. AcRv is now standing in a pitch-black room.

theamatuer: 4
slap acrv through space-time then flee.


theamatuer reaches out through space-time and tries to hit AcRv. His recoils in pain as his hand strikes something metal, possibly a door. Several aliens enter the alleyway, approaching cautiously. theamatuer leaps onto the metal fence and scurries over, dropping gracelessly but safely to the pavement on the other side.

JDGA: 4
Pwn people.


JDGA levitates the remaining glass and flings it towards the doorway. The two aliens struggling through are struck by the knife-like shards, which easily penetrate their armor. They fall to the ground, and two more aliens clamber over their bodies. JDGA sprints through the other door as shots ricochet around his feet.

Katty Bard: 4
run awaaaaaay.


Katty Bard turns from the stairway and cautiously enters the next room over. Seeing nothing of interest, she opens the closest door and enters. She finds herself in a small living room, with a couch and recliner sitting across from a small TV.

Two rooms over, the aliens reach the top of the stairs and spread out in search of Katty Bard.

Mist7676: 1
Look for an exit and walk out it stealthy like.


Holding her new rifle and looking around, Mist7676 spots a glass door leading out to a sidewalk cut into the hill behind the building. She creeps up to the door, peeking both ways through the glass, then crouches, takes a few quick breaths, and with a single, liquid motion, surges forwards through the door.

Unfortunately, the door is locked.

Mist7676 has smashed face-first into the door and is now bleeding from the forehead. She will be -1 next turn. The glass of the door is now spiderwebbed with cracks where she struck it.


Spoiler: Turn 88 Actions
1. jmj3000: Attempt to disarm on of the four aliens surrounding me.

2. izakthegoomba: Try to force the door at the end open.

3. AcRv: Call out "I know you're in here; I'm here because we both need each other." If there is no response, I use my iPhone as a torch to light up the area.

4. theamatuer: view the map now.

5. JDGA: JUMP (and levitate down if I can)

6. Katty Bard: hide behind the TV, with an eye on the window.

7. Mist7676: Find the keys magically hidden in a flowerpot.


Turn 88 Deadline: (expired on 2012-09-18 18:13:17)

What kind of doors are they, the single one at the and of the corridor and the one AcRv is behind? I'm pretty big so I'm thinking I could knock one out of it's frame.
